This owners and all staff are so very friendly & make it a point to learn you'd first name. Even if u only go into shop once or twice a month, they say hello, your name! I just couldn't believe after my 3rd time I went into the store, they greeted me by NAME. it made me feel they really appreciated the customers, & I have been loyal to them! & anytime I feel like getting donuts for the g-kids, they will be the only donut shop I support. Got here at around 530am amazing doughnuts! Had a glazed and a cinnamon original both were so good! Cinnamon original was sweet but the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar combined the glazed was fluffy soft and substantial. My son had a maple bar that was fresh and hot and boy was the bite he let me have amazing! Getting really early morning doughnuts with my Grandpa are some of my favorite memories. First time visiting Donut Wheel. It has great frontage positioning on the Esplanade. Easy parking. Friendly staff.

The donuts were OK. You can buy them individually or by the dozen. I liked how the filled donuts were filled when you order them. The apple fritters were greasy and overcooked.
