Costco Wholesale — Local services in Chico

Costco is one of the better "big stores" in Chico, IMHO. Their gas station is well organized; even though it's always packed, it doesn't take that long to make your way through. And it's always packed because oftentimes they have the best gas prices in town.

Their eye-glasses department I feel is the best in Chico. They have the absolute lowest prices for frames/lenses versus everywhere else I've experienced. They also have a wide selection of frames for men, which has been an issue for me at other places in the past. Not only that, they took my eye insurance with no problems and I had my new glasses in just 2 weeks.

Then for everything else they sell in the store, they have a nice big variety of items to choose from and their prices are normally lower than other stores. It just depends if you want to buy in bulk or not. Its become one of my family's "go to" stores that we visit at least once a month.

Costco also sells a lot of seasonal, non-grocery, related items too and their selection is always changing (the whole middle section of the store). These items always get me into trouble because it's often stuff that I like a lot but they're usually bigger items. So, my wife tries to steer me away from the middle section of the store once she sees me wandering that way, lol.

The last thing I wanted to mention is their food court. You can basically get lunch for pretty darn cheap, and it's usually pretty good. I know some people come here regularly just to visit the food court area. The sales staff and service at Chico's Costco i will make it worth getting Membership. Almost every visit is different and it usually takes a person's mind off things and the fact their shopping. It's more of a event then a usual run of the mill store visit. The staff is usually very helpful and the store is always very pleasant and clean place to visit. I will say that the crew at the Eye Glass department in Chico's Costco is the best you will ever come across in helping you in choosing a pair of glasses. They will make sure the glasses will fit your needs for fashion and durability. With the many styles of frames to choose from you will find that certain frame that will make you happy. Since choosing a new pair of glasses is not always a simple task. A pair of glasses might have a lot of collateral issues that need to be addressed like fashion, durability and be able to stand the tests if time. The crew at Chico's Costco will give the most professional service possible. The crew there have a vast knowledge of eyeware and dedication to customer satisfaction. They will do their best to make sure the glasses you purchase will fit you comfortablly so they last you a long time. Glasses seem to never stay in total adjustments. I’m a fan of Costco. I love and spend so much at Costco that my supervisor even advised me to purchase Costco stock! And I will tell you the reasons. Like most Costco fans, I went in Costco, on my way to find things in my list, I found some extremely good deals. And of course, I bought them thinking that I will definitely use it. I did use most of them but the other days, I found a couple things I bought and haven’t even opened it. We are about to move out of the country, so, no way I would be able to use them. Chelsea at Costco greeted us, shared with us the laugh about our situations and within minutes, she found the items in my Costco purchase history (and trust me, it’s long). I’m so impressed with her personality, professionalism and kindness that I couldn’t resist but have to ask for her name for the review! Then, this morning, we came to optical for help with my husband glasses. Maria took a look at it, quickly figured out the problem, fixed it and even made sure my husband was happy with it. Then, she went on and helped me with my sun glasses (which I didn’t even know to ask!) With these AMAZING services, I couldn’t help but become so loyal with Costco.
