It is a miracle and only by the grace of God that this place is still in business. I have had so many issues over the years ordering from here, that I've lost count. My kids wanted KFC and here we're. I placed an order online (Order #89551436) on 01/26/24 at 7PM and went to the restaurant to pick it up. Walking through the door I held my breath in anticipation of the horror to come. The employee sitting on the counter hopped off and asked if they could help me. She wasn't friendly at all and I could tell by her mood that she didn't want to be there anymore than I did. I explained that I was picking up an online order and told her my name. She handed me my order and I headed home. After returning home I began sorting through the food and immediately knew something was missing. I determined that the restaurant forgot to provide me with an 8 piece chicken tender and large fry. So off I went back all the way down to KFC on Memorial Drive. Mind you I live in South Hadley heading towards Atkins Farm (Great place BTW). I arrived at the store and as I walked through the door the same employee hopped off the counter and again asked me if she could help me. I explained the mix-up on my order and told her the items that I was missing and she immediately claimed that everything was put in the bag. We went back and forth a few times as if it were a debate but what she didn't realize was that it wasn't because my damn food wasn't in the bag. I wouldn't drive ALL THE WAY BACK to KFC Chicopee to if I had received everything that I ordered. She went to the back and came out with my 8 piece tender and large fry. She placed the bag down in front of me and walked back over to drive thru to again sit on the counter, lol. It's just mind boggling, how this establishment wants you can pay a premium price for subpar food. As a customer the employees make you feel as if you're a bother to them and they expect you to make two trips to pick up your food. Let me start off by saying I know why that business in the same spot closed down before....My first experience they're getting something to eat just happened just last week December 15th the time was around 5p.m./530p.m. before I was heading to work to grab my dinner I left and went to Boston Road to Popeye's,KFC stated that they were all out of original and their grilled chicken they only had crispy and we're running out of that fast because everybody was taking the crispy through the drive-thru as well as inside standing inside I must have stood in line for around 20 minutes easy.... with around several people ahead of me before I heard through the grapevine line about being out of two varieties of chicken when I made my decision to leave they have a security guard standing at the door pacing outside and back inside I don't know what trouble might have occurred there for them to have him there which kind of made me think hmmm?!! And the parking is awful they have two handicap spots then about five or six regular spots along the building then on the back side there might be another 8 spots the lot is also connected to the Family Dollar Store where if Family Dollar packed up front people are parking at the restaurant spots and walking down to the Family Dollar Store and as for the drive-thru it starts a ways back coming from Bay Street side but they have an open Island right around the rear of the building so now you have people trying to cut other people off.... take a shortcut like if they were trying to get on a highway ramp and merge into the line. I tried to give them another chance this week but it was around the same time and the parking lot was jam-packed so this time I didn't even get out I drove in one side and out the other not a good look for KFC on State Street for just recently opening up for business. Read moreToday 6/30/21 I had a door dash delivery I arrived at 10pm. An employee cook by the name of Steven came outside as I was at the intercom. He states they were closed. I explained that I had a delivery and on the website it states they are open til 11pm. He was rude. I asked him his name he refused to tell me so I had to walk towards him and glace at his tag. He told me his name was Steven and that it wouldn't matter because he has no interaction with customers. In my opinion at that very moment you did have interaction with a customer so he should of been more polite and more informational as to why the time difference On the website vs store He wears the KFC uniform regardless of job title he should always conduct himself professional even if he doesn't interact with customers.
