Read moreOSJL is one of my favorite places to shop! It was also #2 on my list, as one of the 5 most dangerous stores to go into! #1 being Dollartree! #2-OSJL, #3- The Christmas Tree Shops, #4- Five Below, and #5 used to be The Final Markdown, on Birnie Avenue, in Springfield. But sadly, that place is no longer with us! Anyway, l am a happy clam whenever I go in there and find bargains! And bargains galore they always have! I normally would rate them 4 stars. (because there's always room for improvement!) But they've done something that is a great marketing ploy for them, but a real, literal pain for me! They used to have all of the Insider Coupon items in one location. You could go directly to that section of the store, pick out all the items that you wanted, and be on your merry way! Now they have decided to leave the week's Insiders Coupon items, in their respective locations! For example; if Dawn dishwashing liquid is a coupon item, you have to go to the cleaning supplies isle and find it for yourself! Besides locating where the item is, you have to make sure you're getting the correct one, as in size, or quantity. I walk with a cane. So, the last thing I want to do, is go walking all over the store, hunting and gathering the things that I came there for! Obviously, it's their plan to get us walking around the store, finding things we didn't intend on buying! Like I said, a great ploy for them, but a real pain for me! I really hope they revert to the way it used to be! Until then, it's staying at...
Read moreI give this store three stars because the customer service is about two and a half out of five stars. The retail products seem to rotate on an as they get them in basis. So nothing is reliable regarding their product line. They also have a three-star rating because the products that they do feature inside of their location are for lack of a better term interesting especially their seasonal items. But in keeping with their motto it's kind of like an indoor swap meet. The products are put on shelves in open cut boxes. They have beefed up their security cameras, Lord only knows why, is something actually worth stealing in one of these locations? Anyhow I think that their customer base demographic are persons both male and female about 50 years of age and over. You do get the occasional hipster and 17 to 29-year-old who's looking for some sort of specialty stationary item that they saw years ago and was wondering if anyone would have it they would before they look online. So with these stores all of them I would say buyer beware. because if you see it on their shelves and you need it or you want it you better get it when you see it cuz it won't be there or it may not be there tomorrow and definitely won't be there...
