I brought my waltham 14k gold pocket watch 129 years old to hannoush I took out the movement and they wanted to pay 1300$ I brought it up the street to Chicopee and this guy says the band inside the case is not gold and asked to take cut it out. Hr hands me back the pocket watch completely mutilated unsellable unsuitable for anything I call hannoush back and they say there not even interested anymore. Not only was I was forced to take 300$ under the value of the watch i couldn't or use or sell it. If I knew cutting it ment destroying the gold beding and destroying every part until unrecognizable...i never would have let that man touch it. But I was forced to take 1100$ for a completely worthless case. This is not how business is done if you want your actual money bring it to a jewler who knows how to handle a simple pocket watch. The inside is clean and brightly lit and their guard dog is well behaved. I would rate them a 10 on their honesty and in today's world that is rare.
