Wonderful little gem tucked away in downtown Chillicothe, Ohio. We stopped in for a quick bite, and were pleasantly surprised to find this old history filled building. There's a huge mural painted on the entire wall from 1882! I spent my time while waiting for the food, just walking back and forth studying the painting. The food was great as well. I started with the meatballs as an appetizer...They were excellent with a little bit of spiciness! Then I ordered The Forager with sauteed wild mushrooms, arugula, caramelized onion with roasted garlic white sauce, fontina and house cheese 🍕. Excellent choice! I will definitely get the same thing the next time I'm in town.

In the very quaint downtown of Chillicothe sits this unassuming pizza shop. I was delighted at the idea that they would be using a live fire pizza oven! I ordered the meatball appetizer and it was phenomenal. It wasn't dense at all, there were a couple of cheeses I tasted and the sauce was amazing. The pizza comes out and doesn't disappoint. I decided on the works pizza. Crispy dough (next time I will ask for well done) the toppings were fresh. Again, the pizza sauce is very well balanced. The sausage was not your typical pizza sausage. It was excellent and very well seasoned. Best pizza in Chillicothe.

I was trying to decide between a pizza and a Italian sub, they both sounded really good and finally chose the sub. I was the only customer in the restaurant and it took a while for my sub to come out. When it finally came to the table I was a little underwhelmed with it. I think several of the toppings and vinegrette were missing but it was fairly good but not as good as I was expecting. Will I go back? Yes. I do want to try one of their pizzas but if it is as lack luster like the sub I may not go back.

A BIG NO! Don't bother with this place after bugs and horrible owners! We usually got take out but the only time we spent any time in there was when asked for a order to be fixed but after seeing bugs skitter across the counter from under a menu and on the floor by the side counter we didn't want aa replacement just a refund. ORIGINALLY we liked some of the pizza ( First review-I would recommend the personal vs the LRG, they seem to be cooked different/have different dough,) 7/2024 I had a reaction last order from one of the pizza's ingredients being different than advertised on menu. Did not realize that was the problem until today when trying to order a pizza, Today (7/6/24), I ordered the 1 of the pizzas I got before that I originally loved! Today, I got a completely different pizza than last time, so there is NO CONSISTENCY! I don't mind paying the higher prices this place charges, if I'm getting good pizza, good ingredients, and good customer service; however, that's not what I got this time! Actually, I will be the 1st to be a loyal customer, support a local business, and recommend to others if things are good. I'm actually embarrassed that I recommended this place to a family member based on our first 2 orders. Today, when I called back in to ask what was going on with my pizza, I was hung up on at least 3 times by Mariah. She told me the online menu was wrong, the in store menu was also wrong, and that they had a different one the Cooks use, but it was not printed out or anywhere I could look at it. Finally got ahold of Robert,(who apparently is the owners son) told me there was no manager and no one there now to address the issue or answer my questions. I was told by Robert that someone would call back tomorrow, and we will see if that actually happens. Todays pizza was actually inedible; sooooo much garlic no one in my house could eat it (also wrong/ missing toppings, and crust was hard)! All 3 of us took one bite and actually gagged. Wow! Domino's is a better choice than this...

Exceptional food and decent to good service everytime. Open bar and visable access to watch the cooks toss your pies and make an artisan style pizza with fresh ingredients. Made that day or day before. Large menu and also have a pasta kitchen attacted to it called pastabillities. Pretty unique place with lots of histort. Very family oriented and welcome anyone. Not open on sundays or monday. Sometimes have live music and has very clean facility attributes, such as kitchen, coolers, floors, dishes and bathrooms. Everything is done right the first time. The head chef is a master and the head cook is very respectful and makes every pizza with your best interest in mind everytime. Every pizza is cook on an open fire, gimve the name fire and stone. Also offer great salads and sandwhiches. Must try place for all. Hope its not hyped to much, hope everyone enjoys. Multiple varieties of pizzas. Everyone being different but amazingly fresh...
