Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Chillicothe

Just left The Golden Corral in Chillicothe. I left after eating more than any human should eat. Everything I had was well made, tasted great and kept me coming back for more. I was curious about what precautions they would take to make sure all customers were safe in light of the COVID-19 concerns. They were right on top of things. I felt very safe eating there. Social distancing was very evident in the formation of the tables and the markings of where customers were supposed to stand. I was very impressed with the way the serving was done. It was a cafeteria style of serving customers. You simply show the employees what you wanted and they fill your plate with all the favorites that you choose. It was simple as that. No sharing of serving utensils at all. .the workers were very kind and caring as they got your food ready for you to enjoy. While we were there, we met a very nice man named Amin. I apologize to him if I spelled his name incorrectly, but I found out he is the manager. It was very clear that he has full intentions of making the Chillicothe Golden Corral a go to choice for dining. He made a great effort to make sure everyone had what they needed and took plenty of time to explain the new serving process. I can assure you we will be back on a regular basis since Amin made the whole process work in a kind way. Great food, great people and now I’m ready for a nap. ...

This is the first time I've been there in years. Went in during late afternoon lunch. The food was all fresh. The food continued to be put out fresh the whole time I was there. The food was all delicious there were many vegetarian options. There is a full salad bar, full dessert bar and plenty of high protein food items. Lots of drinks to choose from. There is a Huge parking lot big enough for a large RV to pull in and turn. It is located close to State Route 23. There are large restrooms as well as this facility is capable of holding a large amount of people. They will also sell food by the pound and give you a carry out containers to put it in. There are also handicap parking spots available. My waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a very friendly casual down to earth dining experience where you can get Comfort Foods this is the place to be. There was pot roast, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, mushrooms that are sauteed, pork chops grilled fish, shrimp, Pizza, chicken of every kind, mashed potatoes & gravy, sweet potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, grilled vegetables, barbecued Meats, lettuce varieties, spinach, cottage cheese, chopped eggs, a full array an assortment of salads ( pasta salad, coleslaw, seafood salad) raw vegetables and many toppings to put on salads. The list could go on forever so stop and check out...

Very Clean both Inside & Outside !!! Food was Fresh, Salad Bar was set up with Fresh Vegetables very clean. Food Bars were very clean, Fresh food trays were being swapped out frequently, Soft Fresh dinner rolls & dessert cakes were Soft very Fresh !!! The Manager, He was Very Attentive and Very Personable. He stayed "on top" of refilling our drinks and asking us How Our Food tasted...etc !!! However, Our 'Waitress' was slacking. She cleared 2 plates but Never asked or even offered to bring refill drinks until my husband walked to the soda machine to Serve himself and another waitress told him to wait that she would get our waitress. So, she did and our waitress came out promptly and brought our drinks. We still 'Tipped' our waitress a very nice Tip because We are just Those kinda peoples !!! We had a Great Meal at a Very Nice, Clean and Very Friendly Restaurant. This was Our First Time eating at this Location, We Definitely Will go back... We are even contemplating Our Weekly Family Dinner Gathering to this Location... We Highly Recommend Everyone Go eat at The Golden Corral on North Bridge Street in Chillicothe, Ohio !!!
