Went there for dinner tonight with the family and things started out pretty well, the wait was only about 5 minutes and we were seated. It took about 15 min to get our drinks and place our order. About 5 minutes later we had our salad and breadsticks, sadly everything went down hill from there. First it was not the normal Olive Garden salad. It was made with iceberg lettuce instead of Romaine and it has radish and carrots and no croutons. It also hade very little dressing. After that we waited over 20 minutes for out appetizer to arrive. The wait was long enough that I check the check to make sure it had been put in. During this time our server did not stop at our table to check to make sure we were doing ok. Our 4 of us had empty drinks and we were out of breadsticks. Finally our appetizer arrived and it was fine. It was delivered by Simone other than our server (something that would not normally draw my attention but we had not seen our server in almost 20 min at this point) our server this did at least check to make sure it was right and get refills, however she did not take the empty glasses and salad plate which were taking g up a large portion of the table. We finished our appetizer and waited for our food but it did. It arrive. After we had been here for over an hour and our food did not arrive, we flagged the hostess and asked if she could get the manager. When the manager arrived (an fairly young gentleman that I would estimate to be in his early 20 at best) I explained the situation (not getting out food, unable to get our server, and the disappointment with the salad) and he simply stated that the kitchen was running behind. This is something that I knew to be false as there was a part of 8 seated beside us that arrived at least 20 min after us that had received their food already. He never apologized and only said he would check on our food. Less than 3 minutes later our food was brought out. As soon as it was set down I could tell it had been sitting for quite a while. Our order consisted of a tour of Italy, soup and salad, kids chicken fingers, and kids cheese pizza. While the soup was hot, everything else was cold or various warm at best. The fettuccine Alfredo on the tour of Italy was cold dry with the sauce developing “skin” it had been sitting so long, the cheese, on the other two items had cooled off so much that it was completely solidified. The chicken tenders were extremely dark and look like they had been cooked two or three times and were cold on the inside and the french fries were so cold that they could have been refrigerated to heat them up. The pizza while hot around the edges had hard cheese that was clearly not warm anymore. I sent the tour of Italy back, but not the kids meals as my children were already extremely hungry by this point, and asked for them to be removed from the check, while this did happen, never once did anybody apologize for the experience that we had. I love eating at Olive Garden and most of the time it is a pleasant experience. However, this was without a doubt the worst service and customer service experience that I’ve ever had at a restaurant so bad that I, as someone who used to be a server,...
Read moreEach party drove an hour to this location based upon its Google star rating and the desire to have Olive Garden's donuts for a family member's 30th birthday. Very disappointed that we wasted the time, gas, and money to come here.
The first party to arrive checked in and was told it would be a 35 minute wait and that we would be texted when I table for 6 was available. By the time everyone get there we only waited about 10 minutes. We were quickly seated and left with our menus. We waited about 10 minutes and reviewed our menus so we'd be ready to order when the server eventually made it around to us, a party of 6 on two tickets.
After about 10 minutes our server, Alisha, made it around to us, and asked for our drink order: one water no ice, water, Sprite no ice, two peach teas, and a pink drink. We were asked about appetizers and stated that we were ready to order our entrees instead. Our order was placed and confirmed. Another 10 minutes goes by and a large salad comes out along with a basket of five breadsticks.
Eventually, most of our entrees are served, except the Endless Soup Salad and Breadsticks, which the soup was served about 15 minutes after everyone else's entrees. When Alisha asks one of the party if they want cheese on their entree, she is already grating cheese on it, and the customer immediately says, "Stop." To which she replies, "I'm very busy and have three other tables." No plates were bused, no refills, no "can I get you anything else", no more bread. And for me no soup, salad, or breadsticks.
After about 15 minutes my "Toscana" potato soup arrived luke warm. Everyone else's food was meh at best and we figured since we were paying for it we might as well take it home and feed it to the dog. Had the server came back to the table they would have found each plate except two barely touched. About 5 minutes after I received my soup Alish reappeared asking if we wanted boxes to go. I guess she was in a hurry for us to leave since she had other tables to tend to. We had about 20 minutes to eat our food before we were given our boxes and a check, so I had about 5 minutes to eat my soup. Out of spite I asked for another bowl of soup. I mean, I didn't get a salad, my breadsticks, the least i could get is another bowl of soup for $10.99. We weren't even asked if we wanted dessert, which was our entire reason for driving to Olive Garden. Between the two parties, we spent over $120 excluding tip. And after discussing it between the six of us it was decided that for the third time in my life that I wouldn't leave a tip. The food and service was that bad.
If you want good food and good service I would suggest looking...
Read moreWent on New Years Eve. It was fairly busy and I am typically patient/understanding but they were pushing even my limits. Quick to get a table and then left there... So and so will be right with you to take your drink order... Thirty minutes later we ordered drinks... About twenty minutes passed and we got water... Ten minutes later our drinks came (I started timing it because it was funny)... Then she said she would give us time to think about what we wanted to eat and was visibly frustrated when we said we were ready to order. She said we would have to wait a minute while she took another tables order... Ok we weren't starving so whatevs. Eight minutes later she came back (not too bad this time still getting entertainment from timing things). We ordered and over an hour passed before my hubs got food... Not me just the hubs. My food arrived twenty(ish) minutes later... Hubs had finished most of what he was going to eat. His steak came out rare (he ordered medium-well) so he didn't really eat much of it (bonus for me I love rare steak and had no food still). Twenty minuets later (it isn't funny or entertaining anymore) my food arrived. My shrimp was seriously undercooked. I ate one piece and couldn't stand to swallow it let alone take another bite. I ate a little of the pasta but worried I would get sick from undercooked shrimp. Both meals were super bland and not very good. My hubs drink was completely empty for eighty percent of our meal and was never refilled. Then the waitress walked by and hubs touched her arm and said excuse me ma'am to ask for the check and but she just kept walking as if she didn't notice. Fifteen minutes later he asked the manager for the check. Twelve minutes after that it came. I went to the car so he could pay the bill and I could take a nap or do anytging but sit there (I was starting to get angry and wanted to show the manager my food and complain but hubs hates doing that so). I don't know how long it actually took because I actually fell asleep so I didn't scream. I will never return to this location and I am a huge fan of...
