We've been going weekly for this last couple of months. We're always looking for a great pizza place! We thought we found it? Now, I don't know. We're creatures of habit on what we order. Pitcher of Pepsi, pickle sticks and a large bacon pizza, thin crust. First time we forgot to say pitcher, but one was brought out when we asked. For some reason, if you don't tell your waitress ice in the glasses, the pitcher is filled with ice, pop over, no ice in your glass. Confusing. Our pizza crust was 10 seconds away from burnt. Next time we had another couple with us and our pizzas crust was perfect. So the first was a fluke, right? Wrong. Next time, crust was 10 seconds from burnt. I said something and was told pizza went through on a conveyor, didn't know if there was anything to do. Ppphhhlll...Went the next week and reminded our waitress that we don't want an overdone crust. The next 2 times we went, crust perfection!! I also asked for ice in glasses, not in pitcher. Why have melting ice in a whole pitcher of Pepsi? We made a quick trip to Peoria yesterday 12/21, and decided to eat at Molly's. Different waitress. Again said we don't want an overdone crust. This time, she said she'd go ask the owner. Owner suggested running the crust through, putting toppings on, running through again and from there I was lost. We were sitting in the dark, our part of the restaurant had no lights on, so when the pizza was brought out and we were asked how it looked, I was trying to see the crust. I said it looked good. From what I could see. What I hadn't noticed, was that our cheese wasn't melty and gooey. Not really even close to melting. Have you ever eaten a pizza where the cheese is still a solid form on the pizza? Yeah, it's not very tasty. When the waitress asked how it was, my husband said, good. Why, I have no clue when he was sitting beside me complaining about the pizza. We've made a special trip to Chillicothe just for Molly's pizza. The inconsistencies are killing it though. I left last night hungry. First time I've ever left a pizza joint hungry. One last comment. There's disabled parking on the side, yet the door is locked. Why? Our daughter is disabled and we'd very much appreciate parking in the designated area specifically for her and others that are also disabled. I'm sure they'd appreciate easy access too! Disabled does not...
Read moreSo I don't want to come off as rude or insensitive? But this place? Isn't what you think it is. Started out as a pizza place but suddenly you can get almost anything there. I've heard many stories that you aren't going to last the winter. Anytime anyone says something negative on their pages, they delete and block. I personally think that is unprofessional. As a business owner you should address the issues and not be a petty child. last time I commented on you Facebook I got laid into by one of your workers, which is rude. I understand you come from a small town so you think you can just be casual and everyone's friends?? Owning a business needs to be professional. I don't think you are. You can't just pretend your job is some hang out place for you and your posse. Y'all need to shape up, figure out what type of restaurant you are and reinvent. Otherwise? You are just becoming a dying business like every other restaurant that has rented...
Read moreStopped in for lunch on Sunday and found the place slammed by the after-church crowd. Nonetheless the manager got us (2) in at the bar and rushed our simple pie and drink order ahead of the table of 14. Had the 8”classic and iced tea. The pizza was delicious. More than plenty of toppings and tasty. Hand tossed crust had a little crunch to the bottom and a nice chewy edge. Updated 11/24/24: called in a pizza order from the road, 8” Classic ftw! The feature that stood out was the lack of grease. That’s not to say that there wasn’t any, but you know how some of those chain pizza places use meats and cheese that leave the pizza box waterproof? Not a problem with my takeout. Just great pizza - will be back the next time travel brings me through. Have to mention the “garage door...
