Paint Grill — Restaurant in Chillicothe

Not a corporate burger! (McD, BK, etc) Looked hand pressed and grilled, seasoned and tasty! I bought the cheeseburger, hubby had the Paper maker! Great conversations around, and relaxing! Under new management and still great atmosphere, food and cold drinks! It is much brighter in the day now, still clean and continuing the traditions of what we all expect as a neighborhood place to gather and watch the game or play Ohio lottery. Oooor to enjoy one of the best "non corporate burgers" in town! Oh.. and .. BIG emphasis on CLEAN! AND friendly and fast service. No one was leaning and playing on their phone (see that so much in other places).. the wait staff was excellent and treated us great! All were working HARD! (Showed our appreciation with a great tip $$, well earned!!)

And I gotta know.. how did you serve us sliced tomatoes (that are obviously out of season) that were NOT waxy, NOT green BUT tasted like it was straight from garden.. ripe and flavorful?! It made it oh so much better and surprised me! (It's January in Ohio, was expecting less and loved it (again, how?)!

4 stars just cause the first time my wife and i went it was great and the guy running the bar was awesome. Shot some pool and had some beers. Drinks are pretty cheap too. We went this past saterday night though and the pool table was put up so we couldnt shoot. Ok ni biggy lets have a drink or too sincer were here then find sonething else to do. Well the bartender that night was disappointing to say the least. My wife was interested in some food since wed never ordered food there before and the woman snapped at her with very unwelcoming tone and said how about you order a drink first then we will get to the food. So we finished chugged the bears we had and went to shawnee lanes for the night. That bar and the bartebder...

Not what I was expecting. It is a BAR and grill. They had a "help wanted" sign on the door, so I knew service might be slow. Atmosphere was average but clean. We waited for 7 minutes before being waited on. But when the owners brother came to our table, we were treated with an apology and very pleasant service and conversation. It took a little while to get our food, but it was worth the wait. I had the Babymaker burger and onion rings. The sauce was delicious. The burger was cooked and seasoned very well. My husband got the grilled chicken sandwich. He said it was good. But the star was their loaded French fries!! Would definitely...
