expect to spend 20-30 minutes waiting for a walk in carryout order on weekend mornings!
*save yourself trouble and go to rost or paper city coffee instead!
*there is practically NO parking and it is a mess , in a busy alley
loved the coffee hub but the service this morning 5/17 was terrible !! the barista with the blonde curly ponytail and hexagonal wire glasses is serious bad vibes ! no greeting or smile , loudly complaining about her day and her job, which is whatever but then their boyfriends kept coming in (or whoever the guys with the badly done face tattoos are đ) and talking to them, distracting them, they sat my drink down that didn't even NEED espresso it should have literally been a 3 minute thing to make , which is why I walked in, ordered it specifically,as I was on a time schedule! they sat mine down and proceeded to walk away to talk to the tattood fellows , not working, just talking! mostly the aforementioned blonde ! i felt so bad for the baristas that were actually doing their job , they looked so confused and overwhelmed!
they started doing drinks out of order, people that walked in after me and doordash orders received their drinks, while mine sat forgotten just waiting on a soft top?! ridiculous ! that girl is new and every time I come in she acts like that . whomever hired her may want to reevaluate , I am only one person but I will not come back in while the service is this way, not when I can literally get the same thing at Starbucks on Western , may be a dollar or two more but at least they don't display such gross unprofessionalism. I'm just wondering if coffee hubs owner knows how her employees are behaving on the weekends?! never used to...
Read more3 trips based on friends recommendations and meeting them. It appears Door Dash and similar take priority! In line and after 10 minutes get to the front. The ladies already slowed the line taking phone orders and continue. Calls coming after customers in the line are to go to the back of the line. Not here. Last visit, request, order not taken as she cashier/order taker decided to become 3rd barista. Told her no issue, just make 4 shots when she had a moment. She did not. Went back in line and once again on the phone. Friend, a regular, spoke up and asked that she make the order. Once again, asked to get in line. Mentioned the prior issues. She could not have cared less. Adding to the concerns are violations of city code. Dogs in the store. Not just when ordering. Had two yappers behind us for more than an hour. I love dogs, but inside a coffee shop is not the place for dogs and certainly not when barking and whining for attention. Rost is much better. Paper City provides superior...
Read moreI come here regularly and have always had the best coffee - and Iâm definitely a coffee snob whoâs very particular about giving 5/5 reviews. This place is typically busy (as youâd expect from a spot that never misses), so if youâre coming at peak times, be prepared to wait. Itâs absolutely worth itâespecially since theyâre one of the only coffee shops on DoorDash (we office girls are so grateful for that!).
Highly, highly recommend.
I also want to give a special shout-out to Amber, who handles the hustle and bustle of a busy shop amazingly well. As someone who used to manage a coffee shop myself, Iâm always impressed by her work ethic and friendliness in the midst of a...
