From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends and family.
Now, let's talk about the food. The pizza at Famous Pizza & Sub Shop is simply amazing. The crust is crispy and delicious, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. They offer a wide variety of pizza options, from classic pepperoni to more unique combinations like BBQ chicken or veggie.
But it's not just the pizza that's impressive - their subs are also top-notch. The bread is soft and fresh, and the fillings are piled high with meat, cheese, and veggies. It's no wonder they call themselves a sub shop - these sandwiches are some of the best around.

Read moreFamily and I drove 3 hours to take part in the Chincoteague local businesses "Death by Chocolate" event. We stopped at this location around lunch and decided to eat before moving on to the next business. After placing our order I had the girl at the cash register sign our DBC checklist at which time the young man with a beard standing next to her says he can't stand these people(DBC participants). He went on to tell her that he doesn't have time to answer phones, take orders, make food, and sign DBC sheets and pass out candy. Clearly this guy knew I could hear ever word he was saying. I was a bit shocked by this, why voluntarily take part in the DBC if you hate it? We ended up sitting at one of the tables closest to the register and as more DBC people came in I could hear him making more snarky comments. He was for sure employed there but from what I could see the guy wasn't doing anything. He wasn't cooking, taking orders, answering phones, cleaning, and definitely not dealing with the DBC people. None of the other employees were being negative like this guy but they definitely heard what he was saying and didn't stop him. Don't think ill be coming back here again....
Read moreThe pizza here is excellent. Great cheese, great sauce, great crust. Good portions of each, and perfect amount of toppings. The reason it's going to be a three from me; however, is because the service here is complete trash. The employee at the cash register, short blonde female, could not be any less customer service oriented. She had an attitude with everyone that came in, was heard talking badly about customers with employees back in the kitchen, and continuously rushed everyone while ordering. She would ask me, "Is that going to be it?," give me less than a second to respond and then follow with, "So... is there anything else? " She could not have been any more obviously annoyed with her job. She also got an attitude with customers because apparently the ice was out, and God forbid anyone ask why the drinks were warm. Also, the cooks would come in and out of the kitchen, cussing, being unprofessional, and one was even heard saying, "Let them fire me, I don't give a s**t."
Overall.... great food, worse staff on the...
