Disappointed in the business. My husband, I, and two small children ( 2 and 4 year old) went this last week. We discussed with the gentleman selling tickets which would be better getting us all wrist bands or getting individual tickets. After speaking with him we decided to get wrist bands for all four of us $95 in total! We started with mini golf and of course neither of my children were really interested in actually playing but they still had fun pushing the ball around. No big deal. Then after that my husband took my four-year-old son on the go karts. I believe they did the track 3 times and I took him once more. However my daughter was too short to ride the go carts. Then we went on the bumper boats and while standing in line I overheard the gentleman tell another woman and her son that her son did not need a ticket if he was riding in the same boat as her. I asked the gentleman why I was sold a wristband if children riding with their parents were free and he said he was not sure why I wasn't told that when getting the wristbands. After that my husband went to take my daughter over to climb up the big tower to go down the slides and he was told that she was too little to get on there. I then went to the ticket window and ask the gentleman why I was sold a wristband for my two children if they didn't actually need tickets for half the stuff and the other half of the stuff they were too small to use. He seemed confused or maybe embarrassed. Another young gentleman came over and said no your daughter is more than welcome to go up the tower as long as your husband goes with her so I agreed fine I was okay with that. My husband begins to travel up the tower and realized quickly that it is not easy and there is no way that you can carry a two year old or 4 year old with you while climbing it so I decided to give it a try and also quickly realized that this was a very hard Tower to climb not even my four-year-old son could do it alone. So again they charged me almost $25 for my daughter to play mini golf. And if it's true that a child can ride with an adult for free then they charged my four-year-old $25 for a wristband that he also couldn't even use either. They seemed very hesitant to give me my money back so I did not argue although I wish I kind of would have now because I could have went to the water park at Maui Jack's for the whole day for $63. I will not be going back to the Funland ever!! Children under the age of two should be free and children at the age of 4 should at least be half price...

Took the kids to funland today. Bought a wristband for my 3 year old granddaughter thinking she could ride the rides with her Dad or sister but finding out after they took my money that she was to small for the rides. I ask the girl that waited on me if she could at least ride the go cart with her dad and she said she's to small. I then asked the other girl why she would sell me a ticket for her knowing she was to small for any of the rides and could I get a refund for her, she said we don't refund and to read the signs all the signs state you need to be forty inches to ride my son ask if they know you have to be forty inches and could clearly see when we held her up she was to small why wouldn't they tell us before hand, she said I didn't sell you the ticket. I asked for the manager/owners phone number but she would not tell me. I asked if his name was Steve from across the street and she said it's another Steve. She talked to another young man that was running a ride and he came over and talked to me briefly I explained to him so he let us take her on the go carts but only with our family. This place was not busy and when the other kids would go to a ride the had to wait for someone to come supervise the ride, poor staffing. We come every year and bring the older kids, this was the first year for the youngest. Most definitely will not go back to Funland on Chincoteague Island and will not recommend this place. You should be able to contact...

Fun land is fun for kids the age of 6 and above. Some rides may not be able to ride alone if your under 55 inches I think. I have gone here every single time I was in chincoteague and is a fun little place in a beautiful island! The go karts are super fun with a party of 3 or more and if you can fill up the karts with all your friends it can be super fun! The mini golf is super fun and is unique and challenging. The water number karts are fun with anyone and can make loads of friends there and teaming up on people and getting them soaked is so funny and will enjoy you for the whole day. The pricing is a little over the top but in my opinion it is worth it if you stay for 2-4 hours. I normally go in a ride route so I can enjoy them equally so here you go. Go karts-mini golf-water cars-mini golf-Gokarts the if they have something new or if you want to do anything with a little cousin or son/daughter. And in my opinion all of the 1 star reviews are people who didn’t follow directions or ask questions to signs and staff and the other part is over priced bracelets but you also get to ride unlimited so in my opinion it’s a great way to get out and enjoy chincoteagues best amusements. Hope this review helped you in anyway and...

2 star because honestly the employees were amazing! Everything else was subpar. First we came for the gokarts. My 9year old who can drive them in ocean city could not drive here and 1 adult had to take turns taking the other 3 kids on rides. Half the machines in the arcade didn't work well, although if it did take our money and didn't work they did replace our change. Had no idea the carnical rides werent open till 4 till we got here so that was a bummer. For $25 dollars a wrist band I would think it would be better. In my opion it was OK. But definitely not worth the $100 we spent in wristbands. Another thing is I know it's hot out. But we had to go searching for employees to run the rides for us. No one was sitting by them.

I took my twin 6 year old daughters here for the second time and they have loved it both times. They love the slide and the water boats. They love to get each other wet and just drive the boats around. They are a bit hard to ride, but they have fun every time. The staff are nice and the prices of the rides are reasonable. The parking lot is huge and there never seems to be a huge wait to get into the park or for any of the rides. The games inside the park are also really fun. The games are a bit expensive per play, but honestly I can understand with the cost of keeping those things powered on all the time.

Cool place! Upon arrival it looked more like it was geared towards little kids but in the back there were cool things to do for older kids as well. Prices are very reasonable for the area. The wristband is definitely worth it. Staff was super friendly and helpful (and one of them apparently super cute, according to my daughter 😅) Next time we’re in Chincoteague, we’d definitely come back.
