Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Chino

I am a regular customer at this location but today I was MISTREATED AND DEMEANED BY KALI. (PERSON IN CHARGE) The guy that took my order was a little spacey..not sure what that was about, but my order cam out wrong. I went up to counter to get my scoop of rice that was missing...I was trying to explain to her that the order I got was the order we canceled and changed to another order. She was not even looking at me when I was talking to her..that was rude and no wonder she did not understand what I was saying. She gave me a hard time..I showed her the receipt..it was not the correct one..so i told her to come to the table so she could see whatever she wanted..In the meantime I still haven't gotten the rice. She actually told me that, "She can not give me Free Rice." I do not have to steal rice..I am a professional...I can afford rice. They guy made the mistake..she never apologized. I told her I didn't like the way she made me feel about the rice situation. She said she did not make me feel that way..Customers were listening to it all..She was very argumentative..combative also..It was so embarrassing. We did even have utensils or napkins and we were eating there..It was a horrible experience..There is so much more, but that is pretty much the Gist of it all..I am going to talk to Maria the manager on Wednesday..I was tild their phone does not work, so I have to walk in and talk to her. No one deserves to be treated like this. You come to eat..enjoy your food and have a good atmosphere...Instead I was perceived to everyone in the restaurant of trying to get a scoop of rice for free..I did not even eat my food..just so upset...No one deserves to be treated...

This is a bit of a late post, but even though the Lenten season has wrapped up, I stumbled upon this spot by chance while passing by. I didn't expect much, but since it was Friday and I typically stick to seafood and veggies, I was pleasantly surprised to find they offered a Lenten menu. The plate was just $8, which felt like a great deal—thank goodness it wasn't a $20 letdown! They had three Lenten options: fried fish, fried shrimp, or grilled shrimp, all served with a salad and two scoops of rice.

It took a little while for the food to come out, but I was patient, and it truly was worth the wait! The fish was piping hot, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the salad was surprisingly delicious. The place seemed to be busy, which is always a good sign. Overall, it was an onolicious...

The kid closing tonight was the rudest. Yes I got there 10 minutes before closing..yes there's other customers in there. We even left after a few minutes of eating our food considering they were closed. Asked for an extra sauce his response was "we out it away already". Dude just go in the walk in and get it it already portioned. He said nope and walked away. Went back to my bags. Told my girlfriend they told her no...she went back and nice young girl went out of her way to get it. Its was literally in reach. Its a sauce I didn't order anything extra that dude need to rethink his position. Not the first encounter with him either. Please don't sit on the counter where the food goes don't know where the...
