Uminoya Ramen — Restaurant in Chino

I tried to go out for a nice ramen dinner with my family and ordered a side of sushi (I tried to ask for extra ginger beforehand as well)(I was told it came with plenty) The sushi came out with the smallest one piece of ginger I've ever seen in my life..(like a sqidward bite)...Myself; I wasn't able to finish all my meal.(my bowl of ramen since it was still piping hot) My mother and I asked for to-go containers later on. The server insisted on packing up the left overs, we thought that was quite nice. but completly dupped us on both our broths we still had a fair amount of.. (wich is the best part of ramen and the expierence) The server ended up scanning on top of ours.. It was refunded strait away apparenly.. heard the cooks coughing in the back and left the server to himself.. I dont blame him(yhe server) for being overwhelmed.. cant help but think they added our broth back to to pot because I got quite sick after... If i could leave less then one star I would... will not be going back save...

I'm sorry, but I have no idea why this place was rated 4.9 stars on Google. We came on a Wednesday night for the first time with a party of 4, including 2 kids at about 7 p.m.

We went up to order our ramen dishes and a pork fried rice dish, but we were told not to order the fried rice because it would take much longer than the ramen, so we did not get to buy it even though we wanted it. They said that because there was no indoor seating available, it was takeout only, and it would be about 15 min to be ready. Fine, we dont live far, so it was no big deal. We ended up waiting 60 minutes for our food with exceedingly cranky and hungry kids. And while we were waiting for our food, 7 parties came, ordered their food, got their food, and had left!

Giving it three stars because although the sushi was really good the chicken teriyaki and the ramen was not 😭. Chicken did not look or taste like chicken I’m just gonna be honest. Not even my kids ate it and we ended up living the whole bowl. My hubby was trying to be nice and eat some of it but it was really not appetizing in taste nor appearance. Coming from some one who lived in Japan , the ramen was nowhere near that :(. But the sushi was good so props to that. Is it worth a 45 min drive? Absolutely not. Maybe like a 5 min quick sushi run.
