Love this Panda Express- favorite place to eat in Chowchilla! Walked in for holiday gift cards. All of the food trays were full of steaming HOT freshly cooked entrees- quite an impressive sight. I had to remind myself that I already ate dinner. I watched the employees heap on generous portions for the drive-thru and despite already eating dinner at home, I had to pick up food to-go. You guys got me again! Same thing happened last time I came for gift cards! Here to drop a big "Thank you!" Greatly appreciate you guys being open during this pandemic and taking safety precautions for germaphobs like me to get take-out. It's an unusual time we're in. I'm really surprised and sad to see the harsh 1 and 2-star ratings. I think we need more compassion in this world. Humans make mistakes- WingStop in Madera got my order wrong TWICE for lunch today but the [young] employees apologized. And I will be returning. I get it. In my experience, at all of my favorite restaurants, errors are made and I forgive. I think it's important in life to demonstrate the understanding we hope others would have for us. We're all a work in progress, right? I appreciate you, Panda Express, for always keeping the restaurant clean. I can tell the employees work hard and try to get things right. One thing is for sure, the Kung Pao is always delish! So glad Panda Express is here! Only issue is the unusual location- how do first-time patrons would have to search their navigation to find you. Anyhow, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and best...
Read moreOkay, so me and my friends had a blast going to Panda express. First thing I saw was the building and it was a nice restaurant from the outside. We went inside and I was so amazed. It didn't even look like chowchilla! I was dazzled by the decorations and everything about it. Now, onto the ordering. So I was ordering my entree of half and half chowmein, and orange chicken. I asked for double orange chicken and nothing else but she put in rice that I didnt ask for. The cashier was really nice. I did eat the rice though, and it was good. On the other hand the orange chicken was different. I think in order to improve the orange chicken, I would say it needs more spice and needs to taste tangy, not sweet. Other than that, it was nice. Lastly the chowmein. Since the Panda Express just opened, I was expecting something like this at the beginning, but good things take time. The chowmein was not cooked all the way, which I was a little disappointed about because it is my favorite and the noodles under the cooked ones, were plain. I'm pretty sure it was just the beginner cooks that could have done something wrong, but they need to mix the noodles up more and cook them all the way. The drinks are awesome as well. So to clesr things up, I did enjoy the cleanliness, decorations, and food but I think it needs improvement. Thankyou for...
Read moreI have been to this store a number of times since it's opening, and it seems that just about every time I do there's is something wrong with my order or food.
There was a time where the broccoli in my broccoli beef was undercooked and nearly raw, a handful of times where the sides or entrees in my plates were incorrect, and on my most recent visit they completely neglected to put an entree in one of my plates so I had to drive all the way back to the store to get it before dinner could be eaten. There has even been more than one occasion where my honey walnut shrimp was stale, and/or not sweet and/or basically devoid of the walnuts, among other issues. This is particularly frustrating considering that I pay an upcharge every time I get it as it is a premium entree option.
This is the only Panda Express I have ever been to that makes anywhere close to this many mistakes on this consistent of a basis. I understand that the store is fairly new but it's been operating more than long enough for it's staff to be able to at least meet the base level of quality that I have recieved from nearly every other Panda Express I've...
