Taco El Grullense — Restaurant in Chowchilla

It's a taco place. A great one at that. My family get take out at least 3 times a month. The food is consistently good, service is great and you can't beat the prices. One reviewer wrote that 3 tacos, rice and beans were $10. I don't know where their math is coming from but all the tacos at Taco Grullense are a buck fifty ($150) with everything. They''re small tacos just like you'd find from a street vendor in Mexico. 3 tacos is plenty to fill me up. You can also order the meats they prepare by the pound if you're having a party or just want to prepare the other fixins yourself. The rice too. A typical 3 taco meal with a drink will set you back about $7. Can't beat that anywhere! If you have one of their big burritos, it will cost a few bucks more, They're really big. We ordered 16 tacos, we always order them the exact same way, and are very frequent customers, one of my tacos had like a tablespoon of meat on it and all of them had onion, (which we normally don’t get because my kids don’t like onion and they hurt My daughters stomach) We then made a simple and respectful call back and told them they made our order wrong, where we were treated extremely rude and told WE must have ordered them wrong, there was nothing they could do about it, and they refused to help fix it. One of my favorite little holes to stop in while travelling. Everything is always good. The quality of the food is high, the customer service is generally very satisfactory. I've been a number oftimes, and only once did I have a problem, it was a drive through order in which I ordered a chicken burrito and I got a beef burrito. Notwithstanding the fact that the beef is extremely tasty, that day I asked for chicken. Upon being informed of this problem, they promptly had me drive back through and exchange the burrito for the correct one with no cost or drama.
