Tacos El Tio — Restaurant in Christiansburg

Another great taco spot for Christiansburg. The good news was they were open on Sunday, so I pulled in and had 2 chicken and 2 steak tacos. The tacos are served street style, w/ radishes, grilled onions, and cucumber slices. The tacos themselves can be served w/ cheese, but I skip that, and have them w/ cilantro, onion, and pico. The meats were pretty good, I'd say the steak was excellent, the chicken was a little under seasoned for my tastes, but still better than most in town. I asked for hot sauce and was given one small container, if you are also a fan of heat, I'd recommend asking for 2, maybe 3 so there's a lot to go around. Highly recommend, and will definitely...

Wow, growing up in CA, living in TX for a bit, and having moved all over the country, I've had a lot of Mexican food and eaten at a lot of trucks. This one can hang with the best of them. Got a carne asada, lengua, and pastor taco each. Was the pastor ReAl pastor cooked on a trompo? No. Do I care? Also no. They were all very good and the lengua was super flavorful and had juuuuust the right amount of give. Their tortillas were also very good. Nothing ever beats homemade, but theirs were pretty dang close. I'll definitely be coming back...

PHENOMENAL food! Fresh, packed with flavor, authentic, and absolutely delicious. My go to with any taco truck is asada tacos with the works, and they're some of the best I've tasted. My family was incredibly happy with their choices, too. The truck itself is impeccably clean, and everyone who works there treats you like a friend. Manny and the rest of the gentlemen do a fantastic job. So happy to have this amazing spot...
