Alex was the worst representative that I’ve ever had to deal with. My iPad would not hold a charge so I brought it in to be fixed. They told me it would take two weeks to be fixed because they had to send it in. I told them I had an important design project to complete by a 1 month deadline and asked if the fix would definitely work. I was assured that it would be repaired with OEM parts or parts with equivalent or greater capacity. The repair took longer than 2 weeks. Then, after all that time the iPad would still not hold a charge or turn on.
I brought it back in to get a refund for the $185 I spent to repair it. Alex repeatedly asked me the same questions over and over again in an attempt to not provide me the refund. He claimed I had my iPad for a month already and asked me if it really had stopped working since I got it back. Mind you it has been less than two weeks and I was told the repair had a 1 year warranty regardless. He kept trying to convince me to send it in again for another repair. He also disclosed to me that there was never a chance of it being repaired with OEM parts because “not even apple has OEM parts,” admitting I was originally lied to.
Finally he admits he can give me a refund but has to first try a “better charger.” This is already after he had been attempting to prove me wrong by charging it for the past 15 minutes. At this point a line of 4 more people had arrived at the store.
He came back after failing to prove me wrong about my iPad after yet another attempt and reluctantly asked for my information to process the refund. I then asked him for his name to write this review and he tried to be a bit kinder afterwards. If anyone encounters Alex, I highly recommend telling him you will right a review at the start of the conversation to try and get a little bit better help.
This experience has soured my opinion about this company. I am currently on my way to AT&T to see if I can cancel my Assurian...

Phone screen was broken recently after it hopped out of my pocket at work. Got the repair set up promptly, and even though it took a couple days, I just got my phone back today. Screen looks like new for being refurbished from the factory, and was much cheaper than a new aftermarket screen (personally recommend, but it's risky). Also noticed that the screen isn't exactly flush near the bottom edge, and because of that the bumper case I have on isn't protecting as much. Hopefully the adhesive doesn't slowly come off on top of that.
Only thing that I noticed a couple hours after the repair, is that the haptic motor started coming loose (lack of adhesive based on what I found online), now it just sounds muted and dead, and honestly thought it sounded different as soon as I got ahold of the phone. I can hear it rattle around whenever I type a bit aggressively i.e. now.
I know it would be a quick fix to get the bit refastened, but I've heard that this happens all the time whenever a device comes into their shop. One thing after another... If I knew that nothing else would "come loose" in the process of fixing a small rumble motor, I wouldn't mind sending this thing back to get it done, but for the time being, I'll just settle and wait for someone to contact me.
TL;DR • The screen was repaired in an orderly manner, if a bit unlevel • Customer service was decent (one guy at least had enthusiasm, but I don't think they were the one who worked on my phone) • Haptic motor magically got loose as soon as I got home (now I have a reason why I wanted to look at the repair before it went out)
I can understand them overlooking it when they had other repairs lined up, so if it's just a mistake- it's understandable. But in the case this happens consecutively if/when I bring it back, I'll fall back...
Read moreOn Thursday, my 13yo's phone took a short fall and the touch screen stopped responding to touch, even without any cracks or other visible damage. We filed an Asurion claim for repairs and I took the phone right over to the Christiansburg location. I was greeted by Alex, who was very friendly, gave me an estimate of around two hours of service time, and took the phone straight back to get the screen swapped out. I got a text to update me about the status of the phone sooner than I was expecting. Unfortunately, after swapping out the screen, the touch issue had not resolved, so he suggested that we file an Asurion claim for replacement. Okay, cool. Easy.
However, this phone has a lot of pictures of my kiddo's favorite cat, who died last year, and it hadn't been synced in awhile, and they were absolutely heartbroken at the idea of losing those photos. When I got back to collect the phone, I was offered a brochure for a data recovery service. Another associate, Jake, totally saved the day by connecting a mouse to the phone so we could get in to back everything up! He grabbed the equipment and got the sync process started. In addition to performing an absolute miracle, Jake was super kind to my kid, who had been devastated all day about the potential loss of the phone and the photos, and sent us home with a small promotional USB-C to USB-A adapter so that we could attach our own mouse to ensure that the backup completed, and so my kiddo could continue to use the phone in some capacity until the replacement arrived.
They helped me salvage a very difficult situation in the quickest and least expensive possible way. I would give Alex and Jake 6...
