We always come here at least once a week on our day off for date night. We walk in and got seated in the bar area. We had Jennifer believe she's new from her customer service. We had the worst experience ever. Took over 15min to even acknowledge us. We asked three different employees to put padres game on since it was only two tables in the bar and they weren't watching the game.. all three employes were rude and never once changed the channel.. our waitres Didn't let us finish ordering our drinks before being interrupted that we can't order any happy hour because there's 6 minutes left when we been waiting like idiots. Than she walks away without letting us even finishing our order. By this time we're over it debating if we should leave or not. WE SHOULD HAVE !!! She comes back another 15min later!! Finally we order our drinks and she leaves without letting us finish our order AGAIN!!!! Another 20min pass by and she finally lets us put our food order and by this time our drinks were in our table and they were different what we have asked. Our appetizer was not we order she brought us wings very salty we order mild wings which were in happy hour for 3$ and a draft beer of 3$ that didn't brought us till another 30min... our food entree was finally correct... I had rewards points I wanted to use and had told her since we got seated she didn't bothered even bringing them which was chips and salsa. We were done eating waiting to get a box to go and our desert to go. We had gotten the 35$ dinner which is one appetizer two entres two patron margaritas and one desert. Our bill came out to 65$ when it was 35$ plus 3$ of the wings and 3$ of the draft beer. She didn't even cared what we said she was rude and unprofessional we explain to her she charged us for everything extra charge when it shouldn't have she keep arguing and wanted the last word. By this time we were done and over it and payed 70$ she charged us for even a cup of water and the chips and salsa we never received and regular price for everything didn't gave us the happy hour price for the wings or draft beer and Also regular price for the margaritas even when we showed her the menu of what we got. She took another 20min to even take our cash and credit card to finish the payment. Worst experience ever!!! I have friends who work here we know most of the waistres and buzzers we always come and spend our money and time here but after this and knowing the manager didn't even cared or bothered helping us Is BEYOND ridiculous we're never coming again and I'm making this review everywhere I can we'll see if that helps the manager do his or her job and reach out to us and pays us back!!!! Mind you we walk in at 5:45pm and didn't leave till 8:20 because of all this!!! How do I regret not leaving since the first horrible customer service accident !!!!!!!...
Read moreThis place has gone WAAAY down hill in recent history. I wonder if a new manager is now running this place.
On a recent order, the chocolate milk was missing from the kid's meal that was part of our order. When I called this Chili's restaurant to report this mistake, the person (voice of a male - couldn't understand the name they stated) asked my name and said: "Hold on while I pull up your order." Five minutes later, still on hold, I hung up. It was clear this person had no intention of addressing my problem, as it doesn't take long to pull up an order from 15 minutes earlier. They obviously didn't care about the quality of service they provided.
This Chili's restaurant was very busy that Thursday evening, so perhaps they have the pretentious attitude that they're "too big to fail" and don't care about customer service and losing a customer. And when I mention "losing a customer," I'm speaking literally. I AM DONE WITH THIS CHILI'S RESTAURANT. This isn't the only time they've messed up an order, and it's completely unacceptable.
While they may have that "too big to fail" attitude now, bigger establishments have gone by the wayside. No guarantees exist in the retail space, especially in the restaurant sector. Take a look at what has happened to Rubio's lately.
Also with this particular order, they had NO BROCCOLI available in the restaurant. WHAT?!! How can a restaurant run out of broccoli?? Oh, yeah. I know. It's because of POOR MANAAGEMENT, which also explains the lousy customer service!
Did I mention that I AM DONE with this particular restaurant? I cannot recommend anyone to spend a dime here. Additionally, parking in that small parking area is an absolute nightmare.
Better food at more reasonable prices with much better service is available elsewhere! Buh-bye, Chili's on E. H Street!
Of course the lame response below by the restaurant management wraps a tidy bow on my review and validates my decision never to spend another dime at this...
Read moreWell, the trio chip dip was truly amazing.
The ribs were really delish, tender, and just right. The overloaded mashed 🥔 potatoes were the bomb. I forgot loaded potatoes come with bacon. So hubby scooped all that out, and he enjoyed it.
We shared the full rack of ribs and the trio dip with chips. I loved each. White cheese, bean dip, and salsa dip. Wow. I wish I could take them home!
I would go again and take family with me.
So let me be perfectly honest.
But..... we went at the end of the evening and before closing. It was noisy (sports bar), and still a good number of people crowded the sections opened. The restaurant had closed off sections, so we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated because the area opened was packed. They were too busy without adequate workers, I think. But such is life now, u never know who will call in sick!
Upon entering the place, it didn't smell clean, kinda musty, sweaty? But again, u walk into the area that faces the sports bar.. am I being judgemental? Sorry.
We were seated at the corner, which was perfect for us, but it was quite cold with the draft of the air conditioning hugging to the area near the window. I'm glad I wore my bomber jacket with hood. I used that baby real good.
So, there was no decaf coffee. No hot tea avail. They offered hot water. 🤣😂 gotta love the waitress. I got my regular coffee but had to flag down a bus boy and apologize to ask him for sugar. He was super gracious. There were none on the tables surrounding ours. The nice lady who brought the amazing hot food gave us one plate. We asked for another, but never got it.
The waitress checked on us several times when we didn't need anything, but that was nice that she did. She knew it was like our first time there and a couple not familiar with Chili's.
So, in essence, maybe don't go so late? But the food is cooked very well even at the end of the day. The place was still loaded with people...
