ONE STAR ONLY New edit: So many RAW cookies and liquidy squares. Had to return at least 4 times in 1 week. Gross. What's going on?
I'm sorry to change my review. 1 year later I've noticed a handful of times my large cookies were RAW. So now I try to only buy minis. But the other day I bought a large iced oatmeal and choc.chip for my kids. I had to return, my oatmeal cookie had no icing. We drove back and had it replaced immediately. Then we drove off and my kids are eating them. I ask for a little and realize both cookies were RAW. No they weren't just soft. You can smell and taste the raw flour. You couldn't even lift the cookie it was falling like goo. I didn't want to go back a 2nd time. So I called and left a voice mail that I'll bring them back tomorrow.
I realize they're sometimes super swamped. It's crazy I've never been there while it was so busy like it was that day. I'm sure that's why there were so many mistakes.
I called ahead, AGAIN no answer. So I headed over. A girl took my cookies, I guess she investigated them but I couldn't see where she went with them. Came back with my old cookies and new ones and said "that's how our cookies are they're just soft" she DID NOT say this pleasantly. She seemed irritated AF. I responded, I buy these often, that's not cooked. But she walked away as I was speaking. She was so fkn rude. Horrible customer service!!!
This location needs to place another door. It's so tiny and everyone's blocking those entering/exiting....
Read moreNot blown away by this location compared to others. My most recent visit was last week; my boxes were handed to me with a glob of icing on the bottom. I went back in and asked the employee at the counter if I could have a new box; she grabbed napkins and wiped the icing off, and handed it back to me. It left streaks of icing on the bottom. Again, I asked her for a new box and explained that I was not going to put the box on my seat and have my car full of icing; the bottom was still sticky as it was just a dry napkin she wiped the box off with. She handed me a box. Imagine if I was gifting this order, I'd be embarrassed to gift; messy and sloppy. Order was ready within a few minutes of my checking in on the app.
Lobby: tiny and always over packed to the point that you can barely walk in and have to squeeze through people to get to the counter.
Curb Side: even though the app gives you the option, they don't have a curb side parking space and they just put all the orders on the counter. So don't expect anyone to come out...
Read moreVery sad to learn when your pre-pay an order a week or two in advance there's no guarantee it will be filled. It happened to me! I ordered two large boxes for a bridal shower desert table. On my way to the shower I stopped by crumble in Chula Vista, Terra Nova around 12pm to pick up my already paid order. Not to mention I was late, I placed my order to be ready by 1130a. I was told sorry, there's no order for you it's not ready. There were 4 employees working. A young guy talked to me at a distance and said if you want a guaranteed orders it needs to be placed through catering. You see us, we're alll working and are cookies take time theres a process. I could try to have your order ready in an hour or so. Much to my surprise I looked on the website and it's NOT advertised anywhere pre-orders are not guaranteed to ready by requested date and time. I returned an hour and fifteen later, I was lucky my order was ready.
