They are not wrong when they say they are the best boba shop in Chula Vista because they are literally the only shop in west CV area. That’s how they justify the inflated price with an average of $7. They also charge for add-ons of $1 each, they charge $1 for cc transaction under $5, although you get 5% off if you pay cash. Ichiban Sando, across the street sells boba so that would be their closest competitor at $3.75.
This place is cute for photos but the shared staircase seating was not ideal, IMO. Takes up too much space and forces you to be close to someone.
They need to update their on line menu because the menu in store had more items such as roasted coconut foam series and more snack items.
They offer a lot of drink choices, I got the butterfly rose milk tea. It’s pretty and the sweetness level was perfect without adjusting. I tasted the rose on my palate then it completely disappeared like it was water downed. I was hesitant to get tea at 5pm due to caffeine but I slept normal which tells me, the tea was not strong.
Also got passion fruit tea. It tastes syrupy not fresh. It has chunks of seeds and extracts to make it seem fresh. The girl told me this was their most popular fruit tea. I disagree.
I got spicy garlic butter wings and it was delicious. The portion size were huge, came with 7 wings filled with crispy garlic toppings with green and red bell peppers. Taste exactly like cua rang muối (lobster garlic butter) or tôm rang muối (shrimp garlic butter).
My friend got spicy pop corn chicken and surprisingly pretty good too. The white meat was juicy, the exterior was lightly battered so it was slightly crispy in your mouth. Didn’t have a lot of spice on the outside and for sure was not spicy.
I would come back again to try the roasted coconut foam series and this plaza has parking. It’s right next door to Starbread and down the street from...

I had a teen social get together for a couple of hours. I was concerned because of the size of the venue. However, there was no glitch. Only a handful of girls showed up and we took the corner of the stair stadium seating. Customer service is what is expected. However, because I had a pre-order of extra food for a larger group, the communication and on-time preparation was exemplary.
WHAT'S THE DEALIO WITH THE BOBA?
I'm not at Boba fan. But teens are and they got pretty fancy with it. There is a lot to unpack at the menu with combinations and customizing. I ordered the Oreo Cookie milkshake. This was really good Oreo Cookie flavor if you like the ice milk texture rather than the ice cream mixture. Prices are quite reasonable.
WHAT'S THE SEATING SITUATION Like one continuous square flat bench Small pillows for your rear Small bar seating Love seat Or seating on your tush
WAS THE FOOD DECENT? I ordered one of each: chicken wings, popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, and egg rolls. One order of each. These were are good choices for as group of hungry teens and not to heavy on the stomach. The wings/drummettes were a good juicy size of 8 pieces. The popcorn chicken had flavor though the exterior a little too crunchy. Egg rolls had a good texture and sweet potato fries were decent junk food.
WHAT ARE ADDITIONAL TIPS? I brought my own pillows and placemats because of the size of the group and to ensure some comfortability. Because we were there a couple of hours I brought the selfie props and card games.
GOOD FOR: All walks of life Wheelchair and motorized friendly and spacious For parents with teens that are freaked out about the dating but want something safe and well-lit

Read moreFirst time here - My mom and I decided to come here after getting some Sandos nearby because we saw they had a lot of tasty looking drinks, desserts, and food. Location and decor are great. It's really quite beautiful inside though it does look a little unkept. There was a mother with two children inside who were watching something on a tablet without headphones, one of them put their feet up inside the circle where you can sit. Nothing to do with the establishment though I hope this isn't a recurring experience. What we ordered: Honey Jasmine Tea Lemonade (less sugar, less ice) - I liked it, very light and fragrant. Feck Tea (half sugar, less ice) - Really delicious! I'll get it with even less sugar next time but Popcorn chicken (small, mild) - As someone with a lot of popcorn chicken experience, just don't. We got it mild but some spices came in a small container. It was super fresh but it just wasn't good. I wanted to like it but it felt like there was hardly any chicken and it was so crispy that our forks couldn't even pierce it. Sweet potato fries - Also very fresh, maybe a little burnt? Every fry had a very dark brown edge and there wasn't a whole lotta substance. Pretty good sized portion though! Too bad it was covered in sugar; that's definitely a first, and last. I'll probably make a stop for the tea if I'm in the neighborhood. I'd have to have someone convince me to try their food again...
