Joe & Ernie's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Chula Vista

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with EVERYTHING about Joe and Ernies Pizza. This is the first and last time I will order from this establishment.

Reasons as follows: Did not state the name of the restaurant or the name of the person who answered and my "brief hold time" was almost 4 minutes. Ordered a 12 inch Italian Pizza for delivery. Nothing else. 45 minutes later I called to find out what the status was for my pizza. Joe and Ernies Pizza informed me that my pizza was "just finished and going out for delivery". I apologized for asking, then inquiring about the fact that they close at 8pm. Was told "we still deliver after we close". ONE AND A HALF HOURS after I placed my order it was FINALLY delivered. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AND RIDICULOUS!! The Italian Pizza I ordered was luke warm at best and after less than 5 minutes the crust became hard as a rock. Way too much cheese which covered what little toppings were used to create an "Italian Pizza". EXTREMELY disappointed at the lack of flavor of this pizza. Pizza, delivery fee, sales tax and tip for a grand total of WASTED MONEY $27.53.

IF there is any way to recuperate my WASTED MONEY it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My recent visit to this local pizza place was an absolute delight! Even though I've only been here once, the experience was so fantastic that I can't help but give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review.

To start, we ordered the house salad, and it was fresh, crisp, and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly of high quality, and it was the perfect way to kick off our meal.

For our main dishes, we went with the pepperoni calzone and the meat lover pizza. The calzone was a true work of art – the dough was perfectly golden brown, and the pepperoni and cheese inside were ooey-gooey and delicious. It was like a flavor explosion in every bite.

And the meat lover pizza? Oh my goodness, it was a carnivore's dream come true! The combination of various meats and cheeses on that pizza was a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. The crust was just the right amount of crispy, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly.

But what really stood out was the friendly staff, who made our visit even more enjoyable. They ensured our orders were spot on and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Their exceptional service added an extra layer of warmth to the already welcoming environment.

I am a 75-year-old grandfather. I took my daughter 42 grandchildren 6 and 8 I ordered a slice of Cheese Pizza for the six-year-old. I ordered a slice of pepperoni for myself. I ask if they could make it fresh. They said no. We just reheat what we have outside. It's as good as fresh. I told them that my daughter and other grandson would be ordering more.They would not give me the two pieces of pizza I had ordered Without paying an advance for a dine and order. When I paid to a pizza, they gave me the 2 slices. My grandsons was cheese. Mine was pepperoni. 2/4 sized slices of pepperoni was all that was on the pizza. My grandson laughed and said Grandpa. They trick you when I ask. They said. That is how all their pizza comes. 2 pieces of pepperoni, on a slice of pizza from a large pizza, absolutely ridiculous. I will never go back there again.
