Honestly, the area where I grew up had multiple Denny's and 1 mediocre IHOP; so I'm used to going to Denny's for breakfast. When I moved to this area 12+ years ago I was excited to try out the IHOP. I was very disappointed. Rude staff and cold, overpriced food. My husband saw the ad for the all you can eat pancakes, and since I love breakfast, he decided to take me for a birthday treat. This experience was far better. Every staff member we encountered was kind, courteous, engaging, and accommodating. The menu was quite extensive...made it a little hard to make a decision 😄. The food was tasty and very filling. I did enjoy the syrup caddy at the table so we could experience the different flavors. I didn't give them 5 stars for two reasons. 1. I think their prices are still a little high for what you get. And 2. The pancakes. My pancakes were slightly underdone and tasted a little "batter-y". I much prefer the pancakes at Denny's. And as a comparison, IHOP is having this limited time special at $4.99. Denny's has the offer available year long for $4. So this location is good. The staff is excellent. It's a decent place...
Read moreIHOP is a nice location. The staff is why I'm giving you at such a high rating. Now full disclosure I am not a breakfast person only reason I came here was because it was my wife's birthday and she loves breakfast food. Also because I like to save some money and I saw a commercial for for $4.99 or free with a breakfast order. I just wanted to have breakfast and so did the wife and her little girl 2 year old. The food was good not bad at all cooked properly as I requested them. My biggest complaint about the food however was the pancakes, now I know it was an all you can eat pancakes, but at least finish cooking them... By that I mean that they were a little undercooked. the cool thing is that at the table they have four different types of syrup. Basically I did not love this place but it is not bad, you should give it a chance make up your own decision. Oh I did forget to mention they do have an outdoor seating area as well. no one was using that when I was there I think it may have been that it was kind of...
Read moreI've been to this IHOP several times and usually have a decent experience, but today was really disappointing. After placing our drink order, it took 30 minutes to receive them—and only after the waitress came back and asked us what we had ordered, clearly having forgotten.
Meanwhile, a group seated after us had already received their food while we still had nothing. We waited another 15 minutes and asked if our food was ready. The waitress said "almost." Five minutes later, still nothing—so we got up to leave.
That’s when the waitress claimed our food was ready, though it clearly wasn’t. We asked to speak to the manager and were told, "The manager is busy in the back cooking."
We ended up paying for one coffee, one soda, and water—and walked out without ever getting our food. No apology, no explanation, just poor service across the board.
This used to be a reliable spot, but after today, I won’t be back...
