McDonald's — Restaurant in Chula Vista

I don’t usually do reviews for fast food, but I have to share that this is THE SLOWEST MCDONALDS. I am an APP user and I order ahead and usually do curbside pickup since the drive-thru lines can be unpredictable. Today I waited 17 minutes at the curb before I went in and got the food myself. It was just a 10-piece nuggets and fries with a bottle of water. The restaurant wasn’t busy despite being prime lunch time at 11:30 in the morning. There wasn’t even a line at the drive-thru; maybe 10-15 cars went through while I was sitting and waiting.

This wait was easily 3x longer than my usual wait for a curbside order (which is usually food for 5-6 people, not just a couple of items). This was my second visit to this location for curbside and it was VERY SLOW last time as well.

My advice… take the extra few minutes to drive to the store on Otay Lakes…. the extra drive time is worth it for the much shorter wait for service. Or add 15-20 minutes to your plan and bring an activity to do in the car.

It was my first time there and I was very disappointed I asked 3 times please I don't eat onions can you make sure that they don't put it in my hamburger I asked again no onions even my granddaughter asked please don't put onions when I got my order there's was a lot of onions I asked 3 times please no onions she the person that works there told me maybe I should of told them to put a sticker on the hamburger that has no onion , but I said politely of time that's not My Job to tell you how to do your job we asked you ahead of time plenty of time. I think you should know how to do your Job then she walked away saying all kinds of stuff and then she got the other one talking mess and the girl at the register kept looking at me and laughing and then they were laughing at me for what ever reason. Get me wrong it was a nice place nice area but the respect and courtesy and customer service was not appreciated . Don't get me wrong after that my Granddaughter got upset and wanted to talk the manager but supposedly no one was there I don't knowknow what she said under her breathe but My Granddaughter called her...

I think this the absolute worst my family has ever frequented. The person after us ordered the same exact thing as my wife and they called him before her waiting for 10 more minutes and left her waiting for 10 more minutes. Needless to say I took your order back and got a refund the first time I did something like that at McDonald's. I will be moving out of this area in less than a month. To be honest I do not feel as if that's really soon enough. This past year that I've lived in this area has been a nightmare the people that work in a lot of the businesses down here are some of the rudest absolute egotistical, think their shit don't stink, and unless you're of their people you are garbage. It's just a sad day say I had to come down here thinking this was an absolutely wonderful area, only to find out a little bit dirtier, a lot fouler, and there is no respect or appreciation for living in a country that enables them to have a better life.
