The food is okay. Customer service here was NOT GOOD. My girlfriend ordered something she never tried before and didn't really like it. She said it tasted kind of funny and didn't finish her food. I let one of the waiters know that she didn't really like it and if there's something we can do about it. I was expecting for them to offer a discount or something else on the menu but they didn't. The waiter was in shock and in hesitation to my feedback on one of the dishes and ended up just saying because she already ate out of it and there isn't really a problem or issue they can't do anything. My girlfriend was a bit embarrassed and I just said okay and asked for the receipt and left. I didn't ask for the manager and feel like making a scene. I still tipped our other waiter for doing okay job but this was ridiculous. Customer service is important especially in the food industry. This place needs to get their stuff together and start treating their customers with more RESPECT if they want us to return. We are NEVER coming here again. There's way better places with way better customer service....

I would only come here for the ramen. The sushi was not good. It didn't look or taste fresh. And to be honest it was not put together well. In the photo I already had eaten a couple of pieces but the sushi pieces were unevenly cut. Not really a big deal but if you are offering sushi on the menu, I would at least present it better.

The ramen was tasty. I really enjoyed the broth but I have had better "WOW" moments with other ramen places in the area and in san diego in general. Sorry just being honest. The presentation though... was on point.

The service was great, our server was very kind and attentive and that's really all you can ask for to be happy.

Plus: they have a patio and allow dogs there Parking: a ton

Ordered: spicy tonkotsu spicy chicken tonkotsu and...

Noodles are pretty good but "chashu" is just flavorless bacon, broth wasn't very flavorful and had a very predominant seared-meat-over-gas-flame taste. Could be the "Chashu," but the broth bringing little to the table didn't help when it could've.

Hibachi fried rice had okay flavor but no vegetables or eggs to be found, hibachi noodles were okay and hibachi steak had zero seasoning. Hibachi sauces had zero flavor and house soup was way too salty.

Price wasn't remotely what I think warrants this quality and they had issues identifying my pickup order because I wasn't the one that ordered and they neglected to take down ZERO identifying information about the order.

Pass in the future. The three starts are solely there because of the food being palatable...

We came in for lunch on a Saturday. It was fairly empty inside. You seat yourself. We were greeted by our server, who was quick and attentive during our visit. We choose their lunch special hibachi dishes. Salmon & shrimp were delicious with fried rice. The side sauces provided added the flavors of the dish to another level. Our kids got their sushi rolls, which were the only things we weren't crazy about. The rice had little to no flavor, and it was barely sticking to the seaweed. It wasn't our best sushi we've tasted here in SD. I wish we tried their ramen because that is what they are known for. Overall, the service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and upbeat. They were playing a football game, which was a perk for the hubby.

This place is a solid four. Everything we ordered was good but not great. The gyoza are on par. The spicy tuna roll was also despite there being a hair in my first bite. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and also the vegan black miso Ramen. The Tonkotsu was flavorful with an okay amount of toppings. The broth was semi-rich and had a good flavor but not amazing. The vegan ramen had an interesting funky light broth with ample toppings. Both ramens were on par but I wouldn't put them up there with some of the best that I've had but I also wouldn't mind coming back. The decor of the place is pretty bland.
