Fellow Ciboloian here, I will start my review off by saying I used to think WingIT was a five star wing restaurant. I used to live right next to the Alamo Ranch location, and I would go constantly, and now that Iām right next to the Cibolo location, Iāve gone quite a few times the last couple years.
I went tonight with my family for the first time in about three months, and it seems like itās a completely different restaurant. First off they removed strips from their menu (these were amazing and were some of the biggest chicken strips Iāve seen around town). Next, they completely switched up their fries (they used to be kind of similar to Wingstop style fresh cut with a little bit of sugar on top) but the ones that I had tonight tasted like they were frozen and and were too crunchy. Also the ranch was horrific, it tasted like offbrand Hidden Valley Ranch (their original ranch was amazing homemade tasting ranch similar to how Wingstopās ranch is). And to add to it, the front staff seemed like they didnāt know the menu at all. Some of my family members had questions about certain items and it seemed like she wanted us to figure it out on our own. (She even said that the specialty chicken funnel fries doesnāt come with chicken on top). Lastly, the food took forever to come out for a semi fast food wing place.
This is all very disappointing for what was one of the best wing places around the San Antonio area.
It almost seems like they were bought out recently and are cutting corners.
Overall, Iām going 3 stars since the food was edible, the boneless wings were satisfactory, and their wing sauces were still amazing as they always have been. Iām still on the fence if I will go back if it all stays the same way as it was tonight..
Tonight, I went excitingly to show some out of town family members what used to be an amazing local wing shop, but we all left...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCan't believe that I've been coming here at least 2 times a week for lunch and get there lunch special all the time . Real bad they charge for a condimint 1.59 at first they made it NOW they buy Sysco ranch and still charge 1.59. they used to have fountain sweet tea was good came with the luck meal and NOW they brew it and they CHARGE YOU EXTRA DOLLAR TO HAVE SWEET TEA. so my lunches went from 9$ to almost 12$ for 5 boneless and fries with a drink and they don't give veterans discount because it's a lunch special none of this is posted or letting customers know of the increase until you order and question wtf. I will no longer be coming back and I'm sure you are pushing the rest away
The free items you give please tell me what's free. Also the boneless chicken bites are not any bigger than mcdonalds chicken nuggets. I'm sorry but the whole reason to have small business to provide for all these people have you ever heard in the small business world YOU WILL MAKE MORE MONEY BY THE VOLUME AND QAULITY AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN QAUNTIY AT A HIGHER PRICE . Which means more people that come and buy you make more than the less people at a higher price. What I really don't get is sweet is the #1 beverage in Texas than anything else and that is the ONLY BEVERAGE YOU ARE CHARGING EXTRA FOR . you are money grabbing on what the customer like the most of . The ranch for the chicken dip and sweet tea. Me insulting I'm not insulting I didn't say anything about your people but they should be ashamed to agree with what you are doing to your customers. HAVE A COCKADOODLE...

Itās a hit or miss with WingIt.. It was good a couple times at the Pat Booker location, but other times we get served cold wings and nasty fries. The wings cost too much to be serve cold. Cibolo location was a huge turn off. Itās unfortunate to have to ask for fresh food, but itās just not a standard for most restaurants anymore. When you have no customers and serve cold wings thatās just poor management. Our order was incorrect. We paid for $30+ for 20 wings and only got 15. The manager did not seem like she enjoyed her job. Her interaction in person and over the phone lacked customer service skills. I hope she has better days and training.
This environment should be fun and easy going, especially, when there are no customers in sight.
This place has potential if the customer service was better, food was fresh, and accounted for. Please donāt short your customers on your $1.50 something priced wings. The sauces are unique and usually good which is why we tried the Cibolo location. Iād rather take my business to pluckers.
Idk what it is about young kids in the retail and food industry, but it seems like they move in slow motion nowadays.
Sadly, all the bad reviews all say the same thing. No customer service, cold food, and essentially lack attention to detail. Good luck, I hope yāall do better and stay open. Yāall got a good game plan, but your players...
