Crepeccino Café & Crêperie — Restaurant in Cibolo

We were so sad about our experience this past weekend. My husband and I decided to try this place after seeing a great review from their soft opening. We arrived early and waited until 9 AM for opening. We were the very first ones in line. Unfortunately, despite being open, they weren't prepared. Staff members were everywhere, but the digital menus weren't on, and the cashier told us that not everything listed would be available. We took a little time to go through the physical menus, which had lots of variety, though it felt a bit overwhelming. My husband ordered the strawberry ricotta crêpe, and I ordered the eggs Benedict: $37 with tip. We chose to sit outside on the patio since we had our infant with us. We placed our order at 9:04. By 9:20, I noticed it was taking a while, but I gave them grace since they were new. By 9:30, almost every table inside had their food and was already eating while we still hadn't received ours. When I went inside, the manager initially thought our order had already been served. Once I explained, he realized we were outside and said they couldn't see us sitting out there. He reassured me the food would be out soon. When our food was finally brought to us, (about 7 minutes later) it was immediately clear that it had been sitting out the whole time. The English muffin and crepe were soggy, and everything was cold. We were starving, so we ate it, but the quality was very disappointing. What made it worse was the lack of communication or apology. We were left waiting and forgotten about, and no one ever checked back in. We truly had high hopes for this spot and wanted to love it. Crepeccino is more than just a crepe place—it’s a must for any meal of the day with sandwiches, pastas and more. My husband, 3 little ones, and I recently had a meal here, and it easily earns the highest possible rating.

The menu variety is impressive, and we decided to test the waters on both sides. My choice was the Chicken Pesto Sandwich, and I can genuinely say it was amazing. The chicken was tender, the pesto was vibrant and fresh, and the bread was perfectly toasted, making for a savory experience I’ll be craving until my next visit.My husband opted for the sweet side with the tres leches Waffle, and it was just as good as my sandwich. The kiddos each picked a different sweet crepe- all which were pretty much devoured before we could get a picture of their cute dishes. The lattes are also super delicious but be careful because a large size really means LARGE, totally worth it.

Beyond the food, the service makes this spot truly shine. The entire staff was extraordinarily kind, attentive, and quick. What made the experience truly special was the gentleman who I believe is the manager or owner. He was so personable, making time to check in with us and ensure our experience was flawless. That level of personal care shows a deep commitment to customer satisfaction that is rare to find.

While the ambiance was modern and the music was slightly overpowering we gave the “Crepeccino” a chance to wow us. The food ordering process was simple and so was the table seating process. There was Around 5 other tables that came after us was got their whole complete order ahead of us. Drinks, main course and even deserts. The host told us that he was checking on our order around 3 times and no updates. It took almost 40 minutes for the host to come to the realization that they gave us the wrong table number at the start of our experience even though they had brought us our drink. The wait continued and we still saw that other tables were getting their food before us even though “it was getting ready” The food once it arrived was actually extremely good and quite deserving for the price. Omelette was fluffy and cooked to perfection. Egg Benedicts were stellar a rich and creamy well seasoned sauce that complimented the experience of the dish.

Overall the experience was lackluster we hope that they get more organized and that the staff communicate better. The host did genuinely apologize even offered us something sweet for our experience.
