Las Gorditas De Don Angel # 7 — Restaurant in Cicero

This place need some tips from the other restaurants owner .. we went the waitress had no clue what a gordita or anything in the menu my husband had to explain 🤔 also after we order my husband was called by the cook cause the lady didn't wright it in the ticket 😑 right also half our food was missing we told the other waitress that brought our food out and she's like I will let the cook now we literally finished what they brought and they never brought the other stuff so we told them to put it to go since we thought they had started preparing long be hold they never did .. then they tried charging us for stuff they never brought .. it was later in the day so wasn't even busy . Also my son need to use the bathroom it was occupied so we waited 15 min long or longer behold the staff gets ready in the bathroom the lady come out who need to used the...

Came here to this location for the first time the other day. The service was ok, the women that seem to work here have a big attitude all the time it seems. I do have to say that the service is way better than the old location on Laramie, that was a nightmare. This place only takes cash, they have an ATM right by the cash register. They have a large dining room and the decor is nice. We ordered five gorditas, chile pasado, asada con queso, & rajas con cuajada and an horchata, to go. The gorditas were very good but very small and not much of anything inside, very skimpy. The horchata was too sweet, and overloaded with too much cinnamon. After letting the ice melt a bit and it became a bit watery then it was much better in my opinion. Overall, not worth the money we spent, especially if you are expecting a good amount of portions...

They have poor customer service. When placing large orders at any restaurant over the phone I always write down my order ahead of calling to make sure I don’t forget anything. I placed an order and let them know that the noise level was really loud on their end they assured me that they could hear me. I asked them to repeat the order and they did repeat everything I ordered. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to pick up the order but sent someone to pick it up. They messed up the order and didn’t include all of the order. When I called back they were rude and denied it yet offered to leave a credit in my name for next time. I’m not bothering to go back again. It seemed that the employee who took the order was upset that I pointed out that it was way too loud and I couldn’t hear her well. They lost a long time...
