All In One Occasions — Restaurant in Cincinnati

My husband & I live on the west side & were looking for someplace different to eat. I've had this place on my list for a few years now.

Just WOW!!! We were given friendly greetings by everyone as we entered. This restaurant is family owned & operated and you can tell. It is a small place with an attached bar but comfortable seating to dine in.

Very attentive service and we had great conversation with the owner who brought us samples of her cabbage and also of the banana pudding. EXCELLENT. She gave us some history of this place, which has been on business well over 20 years. Emma is her deceased mother whom she named the place after. The friendliest family.

My husband got the pork chop which he loved. I got some greens (has turkey on it!) macaroni & cheese. We can't wait to come back and try the meatloaf and salmon croquette.

Ok I always give a place at least 2 times before a review,the food is decent, really, really over priced,6 dollars for a small side of canned yams with a lot of sugar,the greens almost meat less,but not canned,the macaroni and cheese better than some, The ribs taste boiled but tender,the fish ok but could use more spice,the meat loaf ehhh,hardly if any green pepper,onion,bland,and when you buy a meal that comes with two sides expect a couple spoon fulls of those sides,we spent 60 bucks on 3 meals and ehhh,the environment ehhh,the atmosphere ehhh,and this is take out we'd not even consider eating in,in all I wish we'd have come ate when Emma was there I'd expect things would have been different,the gentleman inside were nice,and polite,but I think will give it a while...

Emma's is a local, family owned, and black owned and operated restaurant serving up the city's BEST soul food!!! Every dish tastes like a hug from Big Mama/Grandma. The second time I visited I brought a friend from California. As Angelenos we are very particular about good food and we were impressed and taken aback by the warm service, friendly staff, and of course the food. We were offered samples of Macaroni and cheese and savory meatloaf that left us excited and hungry for more. We were also given a sample of banana pudding that changed the game completely! Please support black businesses and pay a visit to this gem!
