Fable Cafe — Restaurant in Cincinnati

This place is my favorite. It is so quaint, peaceful and precious in a very special way. The servers are so friendly, they are from the local community that care, they are cool and sweet. The food is a delicious verity. My kids and their friends are always buying the treats. I can’t eat flour or sugar due to food sensitivities but I enjoy them knowing my kids do. We always attend with Friends..It’s a thing to do on a weekly basis with friends as a treat for a week’s hard work. Theres never been a problem finding a place to sit. The back room is so private and spacious and whenever available we take it because we come as a big group. But it has toys and puzzles for little ones , nonetheless we still like that space and it welcomes families with babies and or toddlers. I enjoy the front space with all the sunshine but my kids enjoy that back...

Inspired by victorian romance, Fable aims to be the place you fall in love, the place you record your next novel, the well lighted place to find rest.

As a brand new business, they are still sorting out a few kinks, and improvements will come with continued success. The owner (who is very sweet to talk with) has a lovely vision for the shop, and I will happily drink Fable Cafe’s offerings to help make that happen.

The coffee is fantastic from a local roaster (forgive me for not remembering the roaster’s name). I had black medium roast on my first visit, and indulged in a strawberry cappuccino today (a limited time special).

The atmosphere is perfect for getting away and writing.

I would suggest adding a side table to the front corner sitting chair.

Home to easily the best Donut I've ever had, it's super soft and fluffy and came apart like a croissant without the flakes. They had a wonderful rose and lavender late, it was $7.00 so a bit expensive but it had a great gentle flavor that mixed well with the taste of the espresso with neither overpowering the other. I'm normally not a huge fan of floral flavors outside of a grasshopper latte but this one was definitely special. They explained to me that the price was because of using real dried lavender and I'd say that quality certainly came through in the product. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful and the ambient music and smells would make this a great place for writing or studying in peace. I also have sensory sensitivities, so I'd call this place neurodivergent friendly as well....
