My husband and I stopped here for the first time for appetizers and dinner with friends. We sat in the bar area as happy hour runs from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. daily but only in the bar space. Our server Lacy was prompt and polite with taking our orders. The bartenders were a different story. For some reason they could not produce four drinks at one time. My drink was a cosmopolitan and that came out first. The other drinks were straight pours of bourbon and vodka but they trickled from the bar to our table. I ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were delicious. The aioli sauce and burrata cheese on top added an unexpected ingredient. I ordered Aubrey's grilled cheese as my main and it was disappointing. None of the main sandwiches came with any kind of sides, you had to order french fries etc separately. My grilled cheese did not have the flavor that I was expecting from the different cheeses listed and it was exceptionally greasy. The other three diners with us all ordered the bistro burgers and said that they were delicious and perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere at least in the bar area where we were sitting and had some interesting things on their menu. I think that they really need to work out their issues with cocktails at the bar so that everything is produced at once for one table. We might try it again in the future if we were over that way.

My experience started with a surprise pay to park parking lot, but only 2 dollars and a service charge. The parking lot entrance take you to the bar, with a hostess station around the bar closer to the street entrance again a little odd, just would have been nice to know instead of looking around and feeling lost. The place was chilly, my booth table was so far away from the seat I sat on the edge and leaned over while my wife just sat on her side kind of on the edge ( no big deal but add the hard lean to the right, and we felt more out of class) Had the brie puff with sweet chili sauce, the sauce is good but pairs more with Chinese take out food, as I would have preferred a pepper jelly or something similar. For 15 dollars for 5 I expected more, the puff and cheese needed a sauce or it comes up a bit flat especially at the price. The bistro burger with it's layers of burger, short rib, and onion ring are highlighted with the star of the show horseradish aoli. Pictures include the fries we split as they were extra charge for sides including fries. The American burger was good but pickles were more on the cucumber side, than a pickle. Overall it's upscale pricing, tastey food, but unless I lived local, I'm not pulled to come back. I think with Nation next door there is probably some stiff competition with the chain.

what a great dinner date restaurant. The renovations and the atmosphere are fantastic. I got the signature burger and it was incredible as well as the South Korean seasoned cauliflower appetizer absolutely incredible flavor. this was our very first time visiting this restaurant as it is fairly new. We are excited about the big changes on the west side of Cincinnati primarily Westwood. It is becoming a really nice atmosphere for family as well as children. Right next to this restaurant is an incredible kids play area at what used to be City Hall lot of rich history at this intersection. An absolute must see. this dining facility is a little bit higher upscale than the neighbor burger joint. You can tell because they have cloth napkins. And the dishes have a very unique South Korean spice style which I’ve never had before and seemed to be very scrumptious. even my young children enjoyed the spicy appetizers as well as the unique style mayonnaise on the burgers which were gourmet. The service was quick and smooth very nice folks that worked there. And the price was reasonable as well. For a family of five we spent $125 including tip. We don’t drink so that was a big money saver.

Frank and Rick did it again! What a great addition to our community! The duo brought their A Game with a casual comfort mixed with nods to Westwood and the surrounding neighborhoods.

The menu offers a wide range of options from sharable appetizers, gourmet burgers, top quality salmon, and amazing desserts!

We had the fried green beans and the poutine fries. Both were amazing. The poutine fries were full of flavor and could easily be a main dish. The salmon on top of rice and green beans was perfect. The Korean fried chicken was the best we have ever had. Our group ended with the blueberry cobbler and a brownie banana split.

It is also important to point out that everything has the option of being converted to vegitarian with Impossible Meat and Impossible Chicken.

If you are looking for a casual comfortable hang with food that has highend flavor at an affordable price, this is your spot. It easily presents itself as a fun hangout or a casual romantic datenight.

Adding to add Aubrey and Zachs Ice Cream. What a great treat and wonderful add to the neighborhood. Weather you are looking for an after dinner treat after Ivory House, Nation, or W, playing on the town hall playground with your kids, or enjoying Westside Brewery and the areas dora this is a great stop. Several unique ice cream flavors, slushys, and the ability to make milkshakes and slushys boozy with a shot of an adult beverage.

You won't be disappointed. The hardest decision is passing up the carrot cake at Ivory House or the cobbler at...

Hello!! Big thanks to the people in this restaurant 🙌🏾. From the time that my husband, son and I walked in, there was something good about this place! I mean every worker customer even the owner is amazing! (Owner) you have an heck of a team! (Storytelling moment) My husband son and I were seated for about 5 min when everyone in the restaurant heard a loud boom!! Everyone rose up with such gratitude concerning that. Still not knowing, husband and I asking questions "is the person ok"? (I don't know.) 3 min lady a lady came over to our table and says your mom is on the floor. My heart began racing. ( my mom is everything to me) still everyone is surrounding us with such warmth gratitude. Paramedics were called, mom still lying on the flood. She had two hips replacement... and she fell on the right side of her hip. Even the paramedics were nice. I just thank God for whoever the owner is at the W bar Bistro. Even though this is something no family would ever want to experiment. I'm just thankful to had experienced this at the most phenomenal restaurant in the whole Cincinnati area. You guys are the absolute best and I cannot thank you enough! God is getting ready to be a blessing to you and your team. We will be back to celebrate my birthday again this Sunday. Because after my mom incident I couldn't enjoy the most phenomenal food in Cincinnati. Thank you soooo much!!! Shree, mom Tina,...
