This place is one of the gems of Cincinnati. I've passed by this place several times and finally took a chance at it one night. My experience did not disappoint. I had one of the most welcoming and friendly service in a restaurant. The owners, who are husband and wife, both greeted and checked up on me along with the other servers. You can tell that this restaurant is definitely a family owned business that is known and loved by the community. They even greeted the some customers by name as those customers left. Since it was my first time here, I decided to go all out and get the usual food I get in Thai and Sushi restaurants, since they offer both. Started with their Chicken Satay, which definitely stirred my appetite. It was served with two sauces on the side, which I enjoyed both dipping to separately and together. The chicken alone was seasoned perfectly and could be eaten by itself but the peanut sauce, which actually tasted like spiced peanut puree, elevated the chicken so well. When mixed with the other sweet/tangy dipping sauce, it was like a party of flavors. I would have kept eating that alone if I didn't ordered other food. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and shrimp for my main entree. What I loved about this entree was not only the flavor was on point, but the texture of the wide noodle. I've had it at other places where it was soggy because it was overcooked in the sauce, but this had just enough sauce, and it retained its slight crispiness from being pan-fried. The portion was just right, and the proportion of the meat to the vegetables and noodles was plenty. The owner also gave me some homemade chilli oil to spice it up to the level of my liking which I loved, because the spice level varies from different Thai restaurants. For the Sushi I ordered 3 Nigiris: Eel, Salmon Roe and Smelt Roe. All three came with two pieces andnwere actually bigger portions than ones I've had in other restaurants. It wasn't just more rice, but they kept the right proportion of meat to the rice. I finally ended the dinner with their fried Banana Egg Roll, Vanilla Ice cream a la mode, topped with chocolate drizzle and coconut shavings. I made sure I reserved room for that because I could've eaten another order of it. The crispiness of the warm banana egg roll was perfect with the ice cream. I also found out that this place is BYOB. Definitely want to come back here again with some friends and a bucket of alcohol. Highly recommend this place.

My wife and I have been told that Asiana has fantastic sushi many times. Last year I was looking for "best pineapple fried rice in Cincinnati" surprisingly there were relevant results and Asiana had reviews about PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE! We finally got a couple hours to ourselves sat evening and stopped in for early dinner. Very glad we did. They don't serve alcohol BUT allow you to bring your own! Very cool. We didn't know that prior to sitting down though. But no biggie. My wife got the drunken noodles (the young lady next to us ordered that, which prompted her to check it out) she loved it. I tried it, and it was very good. Service was great, friendly and attentive. The place was very clean, and comfortable and my wife was smitten by the cozy little 2 chair table by the window seating that we had. "It's so cute" to be exact. I wouldn't recommend it for any conversations that need to be kept private or that could get heated. There is no privacy. Parking is suitable but they seem to run pretty much full house so you may need to back out of the lot to let someone out before you can park. Food was gorgeous, generous, and piping hot when it should have been and the sushi temp was perfect. I'm not a fan of warm sushi. IMHO it should NEVER be warmer than almost chilled. We'll go back for sure. Give it a whirl it won't disappoint.

This Thai restaurant has become a fast favorite of mine, unfortunately I'm not a local or I'd be there as often as I could. To start this place has a warm interior, cozy dining area. The waiters and waitresses were all fantastic, helped me decide what to order and fast to refill drinks. The owner was the warmest person, I had a couple lovely conversations with her and the enthusiasm and care she exhibits is most certainly represented in her food. In the couple times I was there I ordered the Tom Yum Goong, and Tom Kha Gai. Both soups were incredible, the depth of flavor and abundance of mushroom were a welcome surprise. The hand crafted crab ragoon were also very well executed. Going to the entrees, I ordered the Veggie Delight, the brown sauce was well balanced and the spice level was perfect, the house made chili oil was a good accompaniment. The Panang Curry was incredible, I would eat it again in a heart beat, rich curry with a ton of depth of flavor paired incredibly well with the fresh vegetables and meat. Everything I ate here was so well executed. I cannot wait for an excuse to get back to Cincinnati to eat here again.

I phoned in an order tonight after reading the good reviews online and I must say they did not disappoint. I received excellent customer service from the phone call to pick up. I spoke with Toye who was genuinely kind. I could tell from the call this was going to be a good experience and indeed it was. When I arrived to pick up my order I was greeted by the same sweet woman I spoke with over the phone and she was just as kind in person as she was on the phone. I’m not sure if it’s a family owned restaurant but it was nice and clean and had a warm n’ cozy ambiance. It’s small inside but there’s room to dine in comfortably and it was clean and tidy throughout. If you’re looking for great food and quality service definitely give them a try. There’s not many parking spaces available on the street but they have a decent parking lot available behind the building. BTW: I ordered the vegetable fried rice and a spring rolls and let me tell you... it was all delicious!!! I will certainly be back again! Thanks Ms Toye for being so pleasantly kind to a first time customer! See you again soon! I

This is a very solid, well-liked place to grab both Thai food and sushi. It's a pretty small place, hit or miss on whether you can get a seat, but I didn't have to wait for a table either time I dined in. For the food I've tried: the papaya salad was well-balanced, subtly spicy and sweet, and came in a generous portion. The spicy rainbow and Sunday morning tolls were both high quality. The shrimp panang curry had really good, fresh flavors, and quality jumbo shrimp; 5/10 spice was very bearable and somewhat mild for somebody with a pretty high spice tolerance. I'd happily eat it again. For service: this place is not first-timer friendly. You walk in and kind of stand around awkwardly wondering if anybody will seat you, and if you seat yourself, you wait awkwardly wondering if anybody will tend to you. On my most recent visit, I had several wrong orders brought to my table, and my food came out 10+ minutes after my lady's food. The food here is undeniably excellent, but I'm more inclined to just order takeout in the future.

Decent prices. Good service. If you like Thai basil, the drunken noodles meal is excellent. All lunches come with hot and sour soup. UPDATE: I hadn't been to Asiana for about two years but I took my grandma for dinner tonight. The restaurant is now under new (delightful and friendly) ownership. I had a noodles and curry dish (khao soy I believe) and my grandma had the drunken noodles. Both were excellent: the flavor of the drunken noodles was marvelous. (Drunken noodles pictured below.) The server recommended the sticky rice and mango dessert, noting that it was a seasonal dish. He explained that they only want to serve the best and mangoes were at their prime right now. True to his word, the mango was perfectly flavorful, sweet, and juicy. Looking forward to my next visit. PS - the restaurant is BYOB with no corking fee!
