Was staying at a nearby hotel so decided to try the restaurant out. I walked in and a young woman waitress greeted me and I told her I wanted to order takeout and so she gave me a menu. I sat down and then waited a while to get my order taken. I saw the waitress tap an older male waiter on the shoulder and say “she wants her order taken” so he reluctantly turned around and took down my order. He didn’t answer any of my questions and in robot form took the order and said “it’ll take 10 minutes “. When I said I’d like to go in a short walk around the block he perked up suddenly and said “I need to close you out”. I assumed he meant ‘close out my tab’ so I gave him my credit card and he took it and then left me with the credit card machine and walked away. I completed the transaction and decided to email myself the receipt and as I left for my walk I saw him flirting with a young girl customer. When I returned 12 minutes later from my walk, I was greeted by a woman who acted like a manager and she gave me a hesitant smile and asked how to help me. I said I’d come to pick up my takeout order and then she motioned to several orders on the table. I saw my name and correct order on one of the printouts and so pointed to her that that was mine. She then asked if I had paid and I said “yes” and she said “wait, it doesn’t say paid”. I shrugged thinking this is not really my problem because I know I did pay but I kept quiet. She wouldn’t let me take my food. I had the fleeting thought it was because I was a black female but I let that pass. Then she asked the young waitress who I heard say “yes I think I helped her” (and she did originally help me by giving me the menu but she didn’t take my order). So I piped up and said a male waiter had helped me and they said that his name was ”Roger” (but I didn’t originally get his name). The manager woman said it should have been noted that I paid on the receipt. I told her the Roger waiter was busy fawning over a young girl picking up food and so was too distracted to do anything extra on my order. The woman manager apologized for his behavior but left me standing there without my food. I was getting tired and hungry, so I gave her the idea that I could show her my receipt that I emailed to myself. And so opened my email and showed her my receipt there. Then she finally let me leave with the takeout food. The food was good — I had dragon sushi roll and yellow curry with chicken, but the experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt badly treated. I think this restaurant...

This place is one of the gems of Cincinnati. I've passed by this place several times and finally took a chance at it one night. My experience did not disappoint. I had one of the most welcoming and friendly service in a restaurant. The owners, who are husband and wife, both greeted and checked up on me along with the other servers. You can tell that this restaurant is definitely a family owned business that is known and loved by the community. They even greeted the some customers by name as those customers left.

Since it was my first time here, I decided to go all out and get the usual food I get in Thai and Sushi restaurants, since they offer both.

Started with their Chicken Satay, which definitely stirred my appetite. It was served with two sauces on the side, which I enjoyed both dipping to separately and together. The chicken alone was seasoned perfectly and could be eaten by itself but the peanut sauce, which actually tasted like spiced peanut puree, elevated the chicken so well. When mixed with the other sweet/tangy dipping sauce, it was like a party of flavors. I would have kept eating that alone if I didn't ordered other food.

I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and shrimp for my main entree. What I loved about this entree was not only the flavor was on point, but the texture of the wide noodle. I've had it at other places where it was soggy because it was overcooked in the sauce, but this had just enough sauce, and it retained its slight crispiness from being pan-fried. The portion was just right, and the proportion of the meat to the vegetables and noodles was plenty. The owner also gave me some homemade chilli oil to spice it up to the level of my liking which I loved, because the spice level varies from different Thai restaurants.

For the Sushi I ordered 3 Nigiris: Eel, Salmon Roe and Smelt Roe. All three came with two pieces andnwere actually bigger portions than ones I've had in other restaurants. It wasn't just more rice, but they kept the right proportion of meat to the rice.

I finally ended the dinner with their fried Banana Egg Roll, Vanilla Ice cream a la mode, topped with chocolate drizzle and coconut shavings. I made sure I reserved room for that because I could've eaten another order of it. The crispiness of the warm banana egg roll was perfect with the ice cream.

I also found out that this place is BYOB. Definitely want to come back here again with some friends and a bucket of alcohol. Highly...

The service was terrible to the point of being nonexistent. It took a while before they even took our order. Then it was an hour before half of our order (one entree) came out. It was eaten before the rest (another entree) came out. There were probably about a half dozen takeout orders that were filled while we sat there and were ignored. We were so fed up that we paid for the one entree and left. They gave us a small discount, but hardly apologized. It was such a terrible experience that we feel that they should have given us the food that was finally finished when we were leaving (80 minutes after arriving) and given us a much bigger discount, if not comped the food completely. The only good thing was that the food that did arrive tasted good. It wasn't amazing, but did satisfy my craving for massaman curry. Don't trust the 4.9 star rating. I don't recommend this restaurant and will never come here again.

Update: Response to the reply It was not made clear that he was offering us the meal for free. Both my husband and I understood him to mean that he would deliver the meal and my husband could eat after I had completely finished my food. It was like his meal wasn't even started before I was halfway done and asked the waitress if the other dish was ever coming. We received no apology in the restaurant, and what the owner wrote that he communicated is not what we understood. We did not understand that he was offering the meal for free. There was no communication about there being a lot of phone in orders so it would take a long time. There was no communication about how long it would take for the second meal to take once the first meal finally arrived. We really felt like we were ignored for most of the night. And we were not informed of the status of our meals. It was still a poor experience. It is no excuse to say "well, everyone else we served was happy; you're just being unreasonable." That is extremely rude. They could have handled the situation in a way that left us satisfied, although not happy. But...

My wife and I have been told that Asiana has fantastic sushi many times. Last year I was looking for "best pineapple fried rice in Cincinnati" surprisingly there were relevant results and Asiana had reviews about PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE! We finally got a couple hours to ourselves sat evening and stopped in for early dinner. Very glad we did. They don't serve alcohol BUT allow you to bring your own! Very cool. We didn't know that prior to sitting down though. But no biggie. My wife got the drunken noodles (the young lady next to us ordered that, which prompted her to check it out) she loved it. I tried it, and it was very good. Service was great, friendly and attentive. The place was very clean, and comfortable and my wife was smitten by the cozy little 2 chair table by the window seating that we had. "It's so cute" to be exact. I wouldn't recommend it for any conversations that need to be kept private or that could get heated. There is no privacy. Parking is suitable but they seem to run pretty much full house so you may need to back out of the lot to let someone out before you can park. Food was gorgeous, generous, and piping hot when it should have been and the sushi temp was perfect. I'm not a fan of warm sushi. IMHO it should NEVER be warmer than almost chilled. We'll go back for sure. Give it a whirl it won't disappoint.

This Thai restaurant has become a fast favorite of mine, unfortunately I'm not a local or I'd be there as often as I could. To start this place has a warm interior, cozy dining area. The waiters and waitresses were all fantastic, helped me decide what to order and fast to refill drinks. The owner was the warmest person, I had a couple lovely conversations with her and the enthusiasm and care she exhibits is most certainly represented in her food. In the couple times I was there I ordered the Tom Yum Goong, and Tom Kha Gai. Both soups were incredible, the depth of flavor and abundance of mushroom were a welcome surprise. The hand crafted crab ragoon were also very well executed. Going to the entrees, I ordered the Veggie Delight, the brown sauce was well balanced and the spice level was perfect, the house made chili oil was a good accompaniment. The Panang Curry was incredible, I would eat it again in a heart beat, rich curry with a ton of depth of flavor paired incredibly well with the fresh vegetables and meat. Everything I ate here was so well executed. I cannot wait for an excuse to get back to Cincinnati to eat here again.
