T.J. Maxx — Local services in Norwood

Me and my boyfriend went shopping at this tj maxx. He found some pants and shorts and wanted to try before buying. So he went back and there was no temporary closed sign. So he went and tried on the pants and when he came out the temporary closed sign was up. The manager in front of a whole group of people literally screamed and yelled at me and my boyfriend because he tried the clothes he wanted to buy on. I get the point but the sign wasn’t there when he went to try on the pants and you don’t yell and scream and have a mental breakdown infront of customers. She literally acted like we killed someone the way she reacted like she was almost in tears yelling across the store. She also yelled at the sweet older lady who was working that area who she probably gave no instructions or guidance to. I usually prefer this to be my tj maxx location but the store is cluttered nasty and the purple haired manager was just the tip of the iceberg. Maybe if she worried about parents letting their kids run crazy through the store and destroying everything in site instead of yelling at everyone for no reason this would be a clean and...

I am highly satisfied with my experience. Firstly, a young associate named Chloe helped guide me looking for summer clothes. She was very personable and even pointed out the hello Kitty chairs and other items. She is a wonderful sales woman certainly. I noticed it right off the bat. Then while waiting in the very long line, I heard over and over and over The lady who ended up checking us out, Angie, ask each client "Did you find everything okay today? I also heard her try to upsell that credit card. I respectfully declined to the credit card. I was so impressed by her customer service that I would actually hire her at the company I work for. I even scanned all of the client compliments taped on the wall behind her to see if her name was listed. I was shocked to see Angie's name was only listed once because she is a step above the rest. Relatively clean for a TJ Maxx. I don't expect perfection because of the nature of the store but they had it in pretty good shape. There was a little extra chaos just because of the Christmas inventory and Christmas rush of people. There were a few inventory carts in the middle of aisles, which made it a little difficult with my small stroller to get through, but other than that the aisles were pretty clear. I did not get offered any help while in the store but the cashier was extremely friendly and helpful.
