Dunkin' — Restaurant in Cincinnati

I wouldn't rate this specific dunkin donuts with one star if it that was an option. My family and I search for this franchise whenever we are traveling because there isn't a one around us. Today we walked into this store and waited in line for several minutes while 4 to 5 employees stood around gossiping about a customer that walked out as we were walking in. We watched another employee walk around the ice cream talking on her cell phone. When it was finally our turn to order we ordered 3 things that were clearly posted on their menu board and we were told all 3 drinks had been discontinued. My wife spoke up and said "That's odd. I just ordered one earlier this week while traveling for work and no one said they had been discontinued." The employee snapped back at her and saying he had worked there all week and no one had made any of the drinks in our order. My wife explained that it was at another location 20-30 miles up the highway. Our son ordered a smoothie and was told they couldn't make it either because it was also being discontinued. We decided at that point we were leaving. The restaurant was dirty. There was trash on the floor. When we walked back out to our car, 3 employees were standing at the entrance to the drive thru smoking.

We got online and the main page for the company still had the drinks we requested on their menu. We proceeded to find another DD & BR 20 minutes south and traveled to it. It was clean, the staff was remarkably friendly and accommodating and when we asked about the drinks being discontinued, they explained that they were unaware of any of the drinks we requested being discontinued by the company and if something were being discontinued, it would be nationwide.

We truly feel as though the employees at the MLK Drive location did not want to make the drinks because they do take a few minutes to prepare. We traveled out of our way to be a patron of their store and they treated us as though our business was not welcome or...

I only stop here a handful of times a year, but everytime I do, the staff is always beyond friendly...and although I dont go often, I feel like they still recognize my face. I read thru some other reviews and find it hard to believe that anyone had problems with the attitude of the employees, unless maybe its employees that dont last long in the position, bc the crew that has been there for a significant amount of time is super friendly. As for the problems with begging for money, there are 2 methadone clinics...1 around each corner, and not everyone in the clinics behave this way, but theres a good portion who do, and if you stop anywhere in the area you will find the same thing.. its not just DD. Im sure if you mention it to the employees they would gladly ask the person to leave (its also not just people from the clinics, but people in the area in general that still use drugs & hang out near the hospitals begging at the gas stations and restaurants). Otherwise, you almost have to expect it in that area and cant blame the Dunkin Donuts personally for that. I also like that it's always a nice diverse group of staff. Overall i appreciate their kindness & promptness...

Today made me never want another doughnut again.... waited in line for 15min once I placed order with the cashier I asked if he had help from one of the young ladies working. This female decided to get smart with me about asking that question then proceeds to go gossip to another female employee (Manager)about what I asked her. I explained to her I’m here everyday and some days there is no one making drinks for front counter orders and ask her to just not argue and make my order she throws cup down and says “I’m not make you shit” at the same time something went on between another customer and the cashier and the cashier walks around the counter jumps in this customers face and threatens to “beat his ass” unfortunately the manager of shift had no control and this was all done with a line out the door and drive thru hanging out parking lot..... these are some of the rudest employees of any business I’ve met. I will never be returning MLK YOU LOST A VALUABLE CUSTOMER AND MAYBE MORE.........
