I would rate them zero stars if I could. This system single handedly placed our youth in a downward spiral. Most of these schools lack programs to help minority children get a since of direction life. Lacking job ready courses, college ready courses, and everyday economics courses should be provided to both high school and 7th/8th grade students. Also driver's education, band, homemec, and shop, should be reintroduced. Children who come from more privileged backgrounds has access to these courses in there schools. Also these programs will help secure more jobs for personal.

Homelessness is a sad REALITY. Cincinnati Public Schools is creating a SAFE SLEEP LOT for their students. BRAVO CPS !! WHAT ARE OTHER CITIES DOING TO HELP OTHERS that are Vulnerable?

This is an Email that was sent to the Board of Education

I am new to the area (coming from Dayton school district). I have been having a hard time trying to get a understanding of how to get my kids,( 12 year old entering in 7th and 15 entering in 10th) enrolled in school. This first started in at the end of April when I was told to go the schools at for the 10th grader and go to the board of Education for the 7th grader. For the past 3 months I have been getting a run around with miss information for both kids from the lady at the front desk and from calls made to customer care. Finally we got a letter for my daughter stating CPS picked a school for her to go to (which was not on the list chosen, but understandable of schools fill up fast). Saturday 7/20/19 I received a voicemail stating that my 10th grader was placed/enrolled in Taft High school, then may 10 seconds later another voicemail showed saying he is not enrolled due to they have not received any transcripts. 1 month and a half ago i called and spoke to the customer care lady (Kelly) I believed it was Angie or Angela or Sheree I spoke to on the phone and I came to the customer care counter and gave all my paper work including the transcript request form to the lady at the desk she was a younger black lady with hair short on the side, she then stated she would fax transcript request to high school. Fast forward to the incident from yesterday 7/22/19, I had called customer care numerous of times which I no one answered. Approximately 2:10pm I came up to the building to see if I can get a understanding of what was needed. I rang the bell at that time the lady who black lady who normally sits at the desk with the another lady named Sheree(spelling) came thru the door. Kelly then asked if she could help me, I explained the situation and asked what was needed. I explained I gave her the paperwork and she said she would fax to the school. She then proceed to tell me she doesn't have time to fax anything because most schools are trying to get kids enrolled. I asked why wasn't this told when I first gave all the paper work to her. she said she don't know and does not know what to tell me. I then said well it is almost less than a month away from school and I understand that everyone is busy that's understandable but if I would have known this a head of time I would have drove to Dayton and got the transcript myself. I then explained that I called and the operator gave me a fax number so I have already faxed to school, she left went to the back and came back and said there is no faxed. She then asked is this for Ed choice, I said not particularly I really just needed to know where he is enrolled in. At that time another lady (sheree ?) came from around the divider and asked do I have transcripts I said no they are in Dayton, and the school was waiting on the fax from your department one month and half ago as per what Kelly said. Then Kelly turned and a snappy way towards the other lady and state it is for Ed Choice, at then which the other lady laughed and said ,"we do not bend over backwards for EdChoice people". I stated that I don't need her to bend over backwards just do what she said she was going to do in the first place.

My reason for the email is not that my kid has yet to be enrolled anywhere it is the customer service I received. The lady at the counter (Kelly) was very rude, was not listening to what I was trying to explain, and showed no empathy as to my struggle of getting misinformation. She was the person who gave me the information before, and I have a witness who was with me for that, yet she denied and blatantly stated she did not have time to fax anything. The other lady laughing at the fact she would do no more than required for a kid to me was shocking. I work in a public area and despite anything going on I still give the best service possibly.

I left the building yesterday so upset, I needed to just sit in the parking lot with tears in my eyes they way I was talked to so uncalled for when I was just trying to get the...

Regarding bullying incident #153OB6329 and complaint #00125202! Incompetent, shady, dishonest and cold hearted. My 12 year old daughter was assaulted back in May by a fellow classmate, while it was recorded, then shared around school and on Snapchat as a result of the staff at John P. Parker’s failure to take action against the children who were reported for the bullying and threatening to assault my daughter at school. Principal Mack and the administration at CPS headquarters both decided to ignore the incident and attempt to sweep the incident, my bullying report and complaint under the rug. This took place back in May and they are still ignoring me and refusing to respond or take any action. John P. Parker and the incompetent school resource officer (Booker) both have screenshots from Snapchat of the bullying as well as the video of the assault, but are apparently refusing to turn it over to the Detective investigating the case. Both are evidence in an ongoing criminal case against...

I have been calling CPS and their customer service desk daily for the entire summer to get my disabled child’s high school application in and I haven’t had contact with anyone until today 8/21/18 and the woman I spoke with Janine West is full of excuses and lies. I’ve been told they don’t have room for my child at our school of choice which is also close to home. I was informed that CPS enrolled my child in a school without my permission that is further away from us and they won’t accept responsibility for this dam PowerSchool app that CPS created when it’s malfunctioning, so we missed our application deadline. CPS is not the place to send your disabled children! Parents please send your children somewhere they can get proper care...
