Vegan approved!! ✨️
I had some mind-blowing Vegan Calamari today!! Truthfully, I've never eaten real calamari, so I couldn't compare it to anything. It consisted of oyster mushrooms breaded in a simple, savory batter, then fried until golden brown. Crispy, chewy, salty, and delicious! This is one of my favorite treats now!! It tasted like heaven, and it was the perfect appetizer! 🍄
The Shroom Slider was phenomenal! The sheer deliciousness of this incredible slider made my head explode!! I never knew fried oyster mushrooms could taste so good. Herban Vegans dishes are downright delicious, always filled with a boast of flavor, never boring, and always unique. 💚
Oh, how delicious!! These Vegan Ribz are made of jackfruit, which had the perfect shredded texture, and it absorbed the BBQ flavor like a sponge. Sooo juicy, chewy, and meaty. The best side dish for ribz is definitely mac 'n cheeze! 🤤
Herban Vegans did an aHHmazing job on these Vegan Nachos!! Thick, crispy tortilla chips layered with vegan queso and topped with tomatoes and cilantro. It’s an explosion of flavors: salty, cheesy, and fresh. It typically comes with other ingredients such as pico de gallo, onions, and jalapeños, but I omitted them because they're too spicy for me. I prefer a milder version. 🥰
Lemon Cupcakes are PERFECT!! Now, this was a show-stopper!! It was sweet, creamy, and bursting with tart lemon flavor. Sooo soft, fluffy, and moist! If you're a Lemon Lover, then you will adore these aHHmazing gems!! 🍋
The Strawberry Cupcake was moist, tender, and totally addicting!! Sooo much flavor and perfect for summer. I’m so in love! Oh my, and the buttercream icing was legit! Herban Vegans gets two thumbs up from me....
Read moreI am visiting Cincinnati from Chicago for the Cincinnati Festival. I decided to look on TikTok for some vegan restaurants. I was very pleased to have came across this restaurant. It’s located inside a cute shared kitchen space that’s also connected to a beautiful dining hall. The dining hall is located upstairs. You have the option of eating in the dining hall. You have to enter the restaurant on the side of the building. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the owner Danielle. She was super nice and helpful. Everything on the menu looked delicious. Without me having to ask. Danielle mentioned that today is Fish Fry Friday. She also made some recommendations for me. I decided to go with the fish dinner and a hibiscus tea. The meal was delicious. The portion size was perfect. I am very satisfied with the food, service, location and venue. I will be visiting this restaurant tomorrow and trying the seafood sampler. Danielle also mentioned that there will be a Day Party with live music and bar at the location tomorrow. I visit Cincinnati annually for the festival. I will be frequenting this restaurant whenever I’m in town. UPDATE I came back again today for the tailgate party. I tried the ribs, fries, mac & cheese, greens, oyster wings, lavender lemonade and strawberry cupcake. Once again the food was amazing. I didn’t have...
Read moreFood was good! I did not try the meat products, just the sides, but I will be back one day for sure. I got takeout, it was a bit of a wait, but I didn’t mind and figured with the long line it would be. I got the fries, mac and cheese, greens, and cornbread for around $15 with tip. The sides are adequately priced, but I had just gotten lunch earlier so didn’t want to splurge on the byob Saturday option. My favorite thing was the Mac! It was the actually the sole reason why I had stopped there, I don’t like the recipes the vegan restaurants in my city use for macaroni and cheese. It was a very unique flavor, that I have never encountered before at any vegan place (and I’ve been all over; Chicago, LA, NYC, vegas). It was good! Just not “typical” Mac and cheese flavor, I liked it though! The greens were great, and the cornbread was a little crumbly, but I still enjoyed. Was most definitely worth it for $1. Will go back again 100% on a Tuesday, to try those jerk...
