We went back for more pizza and added more to our review. How good is a pizza? A) When you order enough for 4, only 3 show up and there is no pizza left. B) When the simplest cheese and tomato pie is as good as the more elaborate creations. We previously devoured the Pepperoni and Olive. This time we ordered 1/2 Garlic and Greens and 1/2 Mushroom and Onions and One Plain pizza, as well as a Cesar Salad complete with anchovies, croutons and dressing (all ingredients are individually separated, to be combined at home) The ricotta makes the Garlic and Greens very creamy and delicious. This is our new favorite. The Mushroom and Onions was not a favorite as it was not as flavorful as the other two which surprised me as the Plain pizza was so delicious that is even better than the mushroom onion pizza. The Caesar salad lettuce was fresh, had large lettuce leaves with a slightly tangy delicious dressing, accompanied by large croutons, shredded cheese and two containers with anchovies. It is enough for two, but feeds more. The ingredients chosen by St Francis A Pizza make such a different in the final flavor as well as the treatment they give to their airy, light crust. Their pizza is also light and absolutely not oily. - Our first review of St Francis a Pizza Delicious pizza. The selected ingredients led to a delightful flavor experience. The crust is both light and airy with a right amount of char. It was easy to eat all of the pepperoni and olive (one size 16”, 8 slices) pizza in one sitting as it was not greasy at all as well as very flavorful. Easy parking also makes it easy to pickup. We will order more of their delicious pies to try other fresh flavors and ingredient combinations.

Oh my GOD. It's literally only takeout and pickup and yet their staff was SO nice and awesome. The guy was estatic that we loved it some much and almost matches our enthusiasm for the pizza. So somehow in the short time spent speaking to staff they left me smiling. The pizza though... Oh my the pizza... It's so. Good. There are some hidden gem pizza places around here but.... They don't compare to this. Good crisp, amazing sauce, unrivaled fresh flavor. I bought a T-Shirt before even trying it because the picture inside depicted a pizza I knew I would love and they delivered. We were so excited we ate our first in the parking lot and loved it so much we had to go back inside and order another to take home. I tipped them both times even I loved it so much. I despise that I live 30 minutes from this place because now I'm in love with this place and will have to wear my TShirt with pride and make trips to come back and show all my friends and family how good it is. Give them your darn business people.

It took me too long to write this review. Our neighborhood has a newer carryout pizza joint and it is incredible. St. Francis Apizza is a family-owned and operated artisan pizza shop. They were formerly named Parlor Pizza Project when it first opened in early 2021. First of all their crust is outstanding! It is light, airy, and cooked to a nice crisp. Their housemade fennel sausage is really good and pairs well with jalapenos, onion, or olives. Another outstanding topping is the local oyster mushrooms. The New Richmond Signature pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pecorino romano, grana padano, extra virgin olive oil, mushrooms, red onion, and local fresh basil to finish is a favorite of my entire family. All pizzas are served 16" with 8 slices. They do offer half-and-half pizzas if you would like to try a couple of varieties.

Moved to Cincinnati last night so I asked the members of Chowdown Cincinnati Facebook group for pizza recommendations near Hyde Park. I received nearly 100 replies and the overwhelming favorite was St. Francis Apizza. Our pizza selection for the evening couldn’t have been anywhere else after this influx of recs for St Francis. The place exceeded expectations. Looks like they have only been open for less than a year but they’ve got it all figured out. We ordered one large pepperoni pizza and it was great. Great cheese, toppings, crust etc. The pizza was a little bit lighter than I expected it to be and is not as dense as most other places. Expect to pay a little bit more for pizza here but it’s well worth every penny. We will order here again. Highly recommend.

Perhaps I will change my review next time, I took off two stars for getting barely warm pizza, my pick up time was 5 pm for two pies, walked in at 459pm, pizzas were sitting on the counter waiting to be picked up , paid the very friendly gentleman and left. When we got to the car I noticed the boxes were not very hot, felt like they were sitting out for a while. Maybe it's the ordering system/ working out the kinks. Having to reheat the pizza definitely affects the quality, but the sausage and peppers was more forgiving in the oven than the plain cheese pizza, I think it's was a little short on sauce and cheese, pretty dry on top after a warm up. Next time I'll just have to get there earlier, overall a tasty edition to the stale Cincinnati pizza scene.

I recently moved here so I've been looking for the best take-out pizza within 15 min of my home base in Norwood. I got the Erie Ave, and it was excellent. This is brick oven style cooked to perfection. The slices weren't floppy but the crust wasn't burnt to a crisp, exactly what you want if you don't like massive NY style pizza. It is a little pricey, but it tasted like high quality dough, sauce, and toppings. Highly recommend, and the pick up is easy because they have a parking lot in front. July 2023 update - I recently had their Chicago tavern style pizza they only make on Mondays. It's fantastic, some of the best pizza I've ever had. It is super popular so preorder before they open or it'll be sold out.
