Marshalls — Local services in Cincinnati

I was very disappointed in their markdown policy. I wanted to purchase 2 jean jackets in size large and medium but the extra large was on clearance it was about 7.00 cheaper for each jacket. However they would not give me the marked down price because they said large was in a different cycle and had been in the store longer. Keep in mind it was the exact same jacket. I spoke to manager and told me they could not give me discount because their corporate was watching them and would not approve of the markdown for the jackets I wanted. I had previously spent almost 200.00 the previous week and with the purchase yesterday it would have been another 100.00. I did not purchase them and I returned 2 towels I had purchased too. The manager even said it was a dumb policy and customers did not like it. So get rid of it. I have worked in retail previously and never heard of such ridiculous policy. So customers beware. What a poor decision on Marshall's and they lost...

They had an open box item (after market 5v 2a usb charger) without price tag so after I picked up some socks, cell phone dash board holder, & a flash light combo I proceed to checkout to get a price check on the item that had the box torn open & retaped. The 2 ladies at checkout were befuddled there was no price on the item so they went to the display where I had picked it up & after the younger lady confered with a leprechaun man who states they r EXPENSIVE she says its $20 which is higher than anything on the rack so I tell her she can keep it & leave all my items on the coke machine & start to walk out when the lady behind the counter says I can take those as if im going to walk back & fetch them for her:) I said thats fine they r right there. Wont be shopping at this store again. I'll get my sneakers, socks, drawers, shorts, shirts, & dodads someplace else. Happy ending found my usb charger plug, cord & car kit for $10.99...

LOVE THIS STORE and Sokkren!!!

I was in Marshalls today looking for brown leggings but couldn't find my size.

As I left the store, a Manager was walking in. He stopped me ask asked if I could find what I was looking for. He said he didn't want me to walk out empty handed.

I explained I saw what I wanted, but couldn't find my size. He asked me to show him the package. He took it and said he would call the Kenwood store to see if my size was available. About five minutes later he returned. He said it was there and it would be waiting for me when I arrived.

Now, THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Sokkren is a HUGE asset to Marshall's. He was cheerful, upbeat, solved my problem immediately and made my day!!!

I will continue to be a loyal Marshalls customer and tell my friends about my wonderful experience today!
