I've been ordering there for over a year, never had any problems until today. Staff are normally extremely friendly and happy. I placed a mobile order for drive thru and told them I was here. They told me to pull back around so they could take other orders and make those drinks first because they had higher priority than my mobile order. What's the difference between me telling them my order and scanning the app instead of already placing it so they could skip the conversation and just make the order? I understand prioritizing the two cars in front of me. But the two behind me got their orders taken and got their orders before me. The girl tried to explain it to me when I finally got my order (she was pretty polite. I might have raised my voice on accident because the fan above the drive thru window was a bit loud. It was unintentional and I apologized and explained that when she pointed it out. I was genuinely just trying to understand what was happening and not trying to cause extra problems, food service is rough), they're understaffed and the machines are printing mobile and inside at one while printing delivery and drive thru at the other. I still don't understand how hard it is to move the ticket to prioritize an order for a guest that's already there, though. I've worked in food service. It makes sense to put it off if I'm not there yet and you have other orders to make. But I'm there and you told me I'm lower priority as a mobile order because you're now a delivery location. That's ridiculous. And I don’t blame the staff because that's what they were told to do, but that's still unacceptable. You would rather have them spend more time stopping to physically take orders than make the mobile order who told them that they've arrived. Literally never had this problem before. I've gotten "we're still working on it, but you can pull around" and gotten my order when I got to the window, the same as any other customer, until today when I was told I'm lower priority than everyone else. Not sure if I want to come back to a business that tells me I'm lower priority because I tried to save them time. Most businesses try to push people to use the app. Seems this Starbucks is doing...
Read moreAs working with customer service unfortunately a lot of us are using the convenience of the app to order and make our time valuable when the employees do not care and take their sweet time and not only that when a coffee take over 15 minutes and I see the coffee seat in there They just told me to turn around again on the drive-through line because they didn’t wanna hold the line is very inconsiderate for working people. I know it’s only coffee, but the coffee is not the problem is the timing that should be considered for their customers. The blonde girl at the drive thru and the girl with green hair they need to be...
Read moreI just came in to redeem my birthday reward and the barista had no clue how to make a simple iced latte with cold foam. First she just put regular black coffee in a cup until my boyfriend corrected her, then she remade it and forgot ice then she opened the lid with her hand on the mouth part and poured ice in getting coffee all over the cup, the 3rd and final time she remade it it looked like she did everything fine until I left the store after 15 mins and she put granulated sugar in my iced latte which I did not order. What makes it worse is her other 4 coworkers watching her and giggling instead of...
