I'm so disappointed. I planned on this being my dinner tonight. I checked their store hours before I left home, 10:00 p.m. I arrived at the store at 9:40 p.m.
The drive-thru lady very unapologetically told me, they were no longer serving hot food, only ice cream. What??
Does it say this anywhere on their website? What am I missing?
To drive here specifically, thinking this was my dinner, only to find they stop serving dinner at some unknown time other than their closing time. I wasted my gas. I wasted my time. I'm pretty irritated. I would have been less upset if she would have been a little apologetic, or told me what time their kitchen closes. Every other fast food serves hot food up until they're closing time.
Could it be that they just want to go home early? If they always close the kitchen early, they should state that on their website, not just a 10:00 p.m. closing time. .
Ive worked plenty of restaurant jobs in my life and you don't always get to go home as soon as you'd like. Sometimes customers come in at the last minute. But in this case it was 20 minutes before closing.
I guess dairy Queen is making enough money that they don't mind losing customers. No wonder there's not very many of them left.
I never eat here. Tonight I was going to. It'll be a long time before I ever think about coming back if ever.
And to the owner, before you bother with your generic line "We Hope you'll give us another chance.". Why would I? I just wasted my time and gas because your restaurant closes the kitchen early. For your public relations to post a generic, we're sorry and hope you give us another try. Is just stupid. Why would I do that? People go to fast food restaurants for convenience mostly. They were having the deals for the 85cent blizzards, so my wife and decided to give their food a shot too regarding how busy it was..we figured the food would have been good. To start out the 4 Chicken tenders with 2pc toast, and fries was outrageous(we were sharing)..about $15. Plus another $7 blizzard on top of the 85cent one we got. We ordered at the speaker, pulled up to the window and were immediately introduced with the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I’m always respectful to fast food workers, by saying please and thank you..and she had no type of manners back..instead she turns around to her co worker and shakes her head for some reason which pissed me off..and on top of that, that same girl which was named Jordyn had her air pods in while working which I think is very unprofessional. We pull out of the drive through, and park by the restaurant to eat and literally EVERYTHING in our meal was so damn COLD, & I mean the chicken, the toast and the fries..we couldn’t even eat it. The food didn’t even have a Good taste. I don’t usually write reviews, but when their service & their food seriously SUCKS for that HIGH of a price, I had to say something. I got the triple flamethrower combo and that was honestly the saddest burger I've had in a while. The meat patties were oozing water after the first bite almost like they were boiled or were very frozen and got warmed up and the frost seeped inside the meat. Having grill & chill in the name it seems like they aren't doing the grilling part. The spice on it was disappointing, they are on the level of a banana pepper spicy. The fries are good and crispy. The staff is new I hope, they definitely need to do more training as our cashier is a little forgetful and forgot to give me my drink and didn't ask if it's for here or to go so we had to unpack everything out of the bag at our table, I blame management for that.
