So I bought a potty for my one year olds birthday his dad put it together and we see how small it is so we take it back . It’s been 5 days I got to this location first Cat says oh I can only give you store credit . I ask her why she says well it’s not resaleable because of sanitary issues ... well if your going to take it back anyway why aren’t you giving me my money? Your giving me store credit but in the same breath saying you can’t take it . I just bought it 5 days ago . Burlington is stealing from people if this is really their policy . Once you buy can’t bring it back if it’s open needs to be printed very big so people know that basically sales are finally and Burlington is not going to let you get any money back . Same thing with my sons walker we put him in it he is too big for it so we take it down and want to get our money back . The walker is brand new but so happens my son dropped one piece of candy on it . She says she’s not taking it and I can’t even get store credit for it . Are you serious!!!!!!??? I come back 5 days after purchase with a recipit and it’s still a problem everything has its box and is still in good condition . That one piece of candy shouldn’t cost me $35 for something he can’t use . She didn’t even offer store credit just smerked and told me yea how do you expect me to sell any of this . Before I got to her I could see there was an issue. When did sales associates call a manager for one return there were tons of other people coming in and who had returns but soon as I walk up with my BLACK skin a manager is called right away . They thoroughly examined my receipt and I said yes I just bought these items . Because CAT WHISPERED while looking my things over and frowning up “when did she even purchase these things” I could see the suspicion and disgust on her face son as I walked up to that desk and it’s nasty how people pass judgement on you and base their decisions on how they are going to deal with you based off the color of your skin . I’m not ignorant and I’m not trying to play victim but I would like to be treated fairly specially when I know I am well in my rights for a return. I never shop at...
Read moreBe careful when shopping at this store! I have always liked it because it’s the largest one with the greatest variety of products.
However, I purchased some items, and they were not in my bag. When I got to my car to check, I noticed that two items were missing. I went back into the store, and they claimed that the employee had placed them in the bag. But I checked, and they were not there. I even showed them, but they refused to do anything about it.
It seems the employee might have placed the items in a smaller bag and didn’t hand it to me, as I had purchased larger items. I only received the large bag, but the smaller items were missing.
I made my purchase on December 27, 2024, at 5:30 PM, at checkout number 5.
I was deeply disappointed because I paid for these items and didn’t receive them. Be very cautious! The staff do not care about...
Read moreWhat was that? No fitting room. What?!
Ah! A clothing store with a fitting room that's been closed for more than a year so far. How are you still in business with Kohl's and Ross right next to you?! That's what i would like to know. Fire your manager! Maybe give that a whirl.
Edit: Response to Valentina,
By your "logic" i may as well buy clothes online. At least i will save gas. I mean, what?! Talk about mismanagement. Having no fitting room in a CLOTHING STORE defeats the purpose of having a physical location in the first place. If this is Burlington's policy? Then WOW! Good luck with that, fellas! All you did that day is waste my precious time....
