Subway — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

Most of these 5 star reviews are the same people reviewing 3 and 4 times! Probably the employees themselves and family cause this place is not worthy of 5 stars. The hours posted are not the hours they open! The lady working there was on their phone, usually I don’t complain about that because maybe they had an emergency and needed to be on the phone but this young lady was laughing and handling the food at the same time. I could see spit going in the veggies as she was prepping it for another customer. The bread was old too and the place was dirty. I waited a long time for my turn and when it was my turn they had run out of most vegetables! I suggest you go to another place. It was such an inconvenience! Plus I was blocked in by a door dasher since there’s hardly anywhere to park. I had to wait until they were done with his order too since they hadn’t started it! I was late to my shift so this is why I’m leaving my honest review today. They costed me my time, they should hire more staff and retrain the ones that are there so they could be more clean, better prepared and off their phones. I’m never coming back to this...

I am not normally the type to write a review, but this Subway presented me with a truly awful experience in regards to testing ones patience. As soon as I walked in, it took between 15-20 minutes for the lady up front to even acknowledge my order. Yes, there was a guy ahead and another online order, but considering I came in at 1 o'clock, at the tale end of a lunch rush, I expected a little more pep in one's step, or the much simpler idea of HIRING ANOTHER PERSON. One person doing everything up front is just not working out for this place. All in all, it took me 30 minutes for me to sit down with my sandwich. Taste wise, it was good. I mean, it's Subway. And the store was nice and clean. But at any other Subway, I would be done and going home by the 25-minute mark. That wait is...

First: I appreciate that the employees are out there still helping everyone.

Second: I don't write many reviews, especially complaints. I prefer to show the better side of what people and businesses can do.

That being said, this was the worst visit I have had at this place. After not eating for 6 days due to depression and finally getting a craving for something TO eat, a Chicken and bacon ranch melt is all I wanted. Not only was it the wrong bread (that was me, I admit), I didn't want it toasted, to have a full tablespoon each of salt and pepper, and whatever cheese was put on it. I do wish I had had the oil and vinegar, shredded mozzarella, and correct sauces as I had ordered. I know it's stupid. First world...
