I will be updating this as it goes, but so far I am regretting shopping here. Bought a sofa/loveseat combo on Sunday 5/20/18 and worked out with the salesman that it would be delivered 5/22/18. I paid, got my invoice and was happy. Salesman said we would hear from delivery people on 5/21 to schedule time on Tuesday between 10-2 or 3-7. It got pretty late on Monday and I never heard from them so I called. Talked to the guy that did the invoice and we worked out that delivery woild be 10-2 on Tuesday 5/22. He calls back later and says that I am down for Thursday 5/24. I say no, it was agreed on that it was Tuesday 5/22. He says okay, the delivery people will let you know when they are close.
Tuesday 5/22 I get a call at 12 (2 hours into my delivery window) from the store that the delivery driver had a medical issue and they can't make the delivery date. I told them this was unacceptable as I have a small amount of time I can be at home due to my own work situation and need them to do what they promised to do. He said they would get it to me today like they promised.
Edit: we worked out a later delivery date with assurance that it would be here on time.
On Wednesday I received no confirmation that my furniture would be delivered, either by the store or the delivery. Around 345 the delivery showed up and the driver proceeded to unload and assemble. He told me that he had no contact with the salesman that day and so could not confirm any parts of the arrangement or contract. The assembly was quick and the furniture arrived without any other problems.
Overall I was dissatisfied with the delivery process. The actual delivery was fine, but getting to it was upsetting and difficult. The salesman are nice and, unlike some of the larger places we visited, far less pushy for the sale. They answered questions but let us choose what we wanted to look at and never steered us toward anything that was expensive for expensive sake.
Communication with customers and delivery seems to be the biggest issue. There is also a lingering question about their third party warranty that has yet to...
Read moreAfter alot of shopping around, I purchased a sectional from Kevin, at Furniture Time. He was very nice, knowledgeable and patient. I finally decided on a beautiful brown sectional,on sale, with recliner and bluetooth speakers (killed 2 birds with 1 stone) Kevin stated that there was 1 more at the warehouse, and ensured me that I would not be getting the one on display. The delivery men were great. They made sure everything worked and showed me how to put it together. It was a hot day, I showed my appreciation with towels for their faces, cold Root Beers, and tips, as well. I showed them a few places where the sectional was damaged, a few small knicks. They said it was picked up from the warehouse in that condition. No biggie. A few days later my couch started the Crack and peel. I had to leave town on an emergency and when I returned and began to sit on the couch, it peeled more and more. My couch has so many bare areas, there is no way it can be new. AND on top of that, my recliner stopped working. When I looked under the couch, I saw that the bar had been fixed with zip ties, and they had broken...ZIP TIES?!?! I returned to the store to let them know about the bare spots and the broken recliner. I also wanted my money back for a coffee and end table that I had on layaway. After a brief back and forth about As Is sales, Kevin refunded my money back for the coffee and end table and said he would send someone over to "fix" my recliner. I was turned off by the whole sale and want nothing else to do with this place. People need to learn that CLIENTELE is more valuable than a 1 time sale. And We gotta do better in how we...
Read moreDo Not BUY FROM THEM.
I Honestly do not recommend them at all. You should go else where. It's fault advertisement here. They lie to you about the factory standards regarding the product they sell, as long as you'll buy the furniture they'll say and do anything.
We had 3 requirements when purchasing a table from them. For it not to be afraid of liquid. (We asked them more then 10 times, they said it's not afraid of water) For it to be sturdy For it to be new no damage.
First table arrives with a chip on it. We wanted a refund because we are buying a new table ( seller said they can get a replacement so we agreed.
2nd table arives, good but was missing an item which isn't a big deal seller can provide it. (They did try to tell us that it's in the box and in the end it ended up being in the back of the store) But it also came with the factory sticker, which seller forgot to remove this time. On it saying how this table is very afraid of liquid spills plus how its afraid of hot and cold.
We came for a refund. And they start saying that they never told us that it's not afraid of water and started making stuff up. Wouldn't give us a refund for a false advertisement and lie.
Makes you wonder what else they lying about material, quality, where its made from, real material or fake, new or return, etc...
My recommendation is do not go here. Don't waste your Time, Money, Health, and Peace on these people. Go to another place where they would respect you, tell you the truth, will be honest with you, and if they make a mistake own it.
You can see the label that was attached to the 2nd table of the truth, what...
