I went there Monday December 30th around 6:30 pm. My 6 year old son asked for a chicken and cheese quesadilla. The lady behind the counter grabbed a small tortilla, put cheese in the middle, BALLED it up like a wad of paper smushing it and threw it into the press. I asked her WHAT she was doing? She looked at me disgustedly like I asked something stupid and said, "make food for your kid" I said, " I don't know what that is but he wanted a chicken and cheese quesadilla" She huffs.. spoke to herself in Spanish, grabbed the ball of food from the heat, spread it open on a paper tray ripping over the soggy tortilla and put chicken on top like a topping before crumpling it up again (this time inside foil), leaned forward giving my kid a dirty look like she was daring him to complain. My kid got scared and hid behind my legs. I was FURIOUS and told her to quit looking at my kid and look at ME. I tried to find someone to make a complaint but no one claimed to speak English so I was forced to move along because I had people behind me. When i went to check out I was grossly overcharged $23 for one burrito and one kids "quesadilla".. Due to alleged language barrier I had to pay the charge then insist to show the receipt afterwards with my food laid out to show what was wrong and the things I paid for that I didn't get. After the treatment of my son I was ready to make that scene. They finally got a manager out who STILL made me pay for the gummed up ball of food that was made for my son. DISGUSTING service and treatment. Added a picture of my sons "quesadilla" balled up inside the foil. I hope someone in upper management sees this review. I don't expect compensation but instead move appropriate action against those employees at this new location. It's one thing to mess with my food but another to mess with my sons food then choose to try to intimidate...
Read moreThis is the third time I’ve come here with my kids, and unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing every single time. The staff always seem unhappy and unapproachable, and it feels like a smile is too much to ask for. The chips have been stale on all three visits.
I ordered the large queso and was given a cup of sour cream instead. The kids’ quesadilla was pressed with the foil still on it, which caused it to stick together. I even left a tip hoping for a simple “thank you” or a smile, but received neither.
Sadly, this will be our last visit to this location. I’d rather drive to the West Shore Chipotle, where the service is consistently better. The only positive I can mention is the one young man who’s always there—he’s the only pleasant and professional employee I’ve...
