Mandy's Restaurant — Restaurant in Citrus Park

Update: it's been awhile since I've been into mandy's. Went in specifically for devil crabs and stuffed potatoes as well as some plantains. They didn't have any devil crabs available so I got the stuffed potato which was tasty but did not have enough filling inside. As for the plantains, I found them to be way overcooked all of them in the serving pan we're literally black there were no yellow ones at all.

Your basic Spanish cuisine served here at a reasonable price and adequate portion sizes. It's cafeteria style so food is served up quickly and you move through the line at a pretty quick pace. My roast pork with two sides and a can of Coke was just under $9.00.

The pork was tender and had good mojo flavor but was a bit too stringy/shredded and my order of plantains was too old as they were hard and way too crispy.

We were actually across the street and the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed! It was only luck we saw Mandy’s on the other side and decided to go there! The inside is quiet and there’s a line of food on the counter just waiting! I was afraid the food would have been cold or hard but I was dead wrong!! We got the rice, yuca, and roasted chicken.

The moment we ate it, the food was so juicy and cooked to perfection! I couldn’t believe it! It was so good! We also ordered the cuban with pork and I couldn’t believe how juicy the pork was! I have not had a cuban like that in Florida that wasn’t Miami.

The prices are so reasonable and they even had a drive thru! Honestly one of the best places I have ever been to and I am definitely...

A beautiful place, run by beautiful people. I'm so glad I decided to try this place, it is owned by a very friendly man, and the woman who was working with him was very sweet too, possibly his wife. They talked to us the whole time we were ordering, asking us about how we found about them. So I'm very glad I can give them a glowing review. It was so clean, food hot, fresh, all looking so good. We got 5 different dishes, and everything was so delicious. The roast pork was tender, flavorful, and so much I could make two meals out of the to go dish. The sweet plantains were perfect compliment to my moro rice covered in onion. Definitely make your way, and eat 😊 can't wait...
