I've been a faithful McDonald's customer since college. I've been drinking your coffee every week, 4 to 5 times a week, for THIRTY YEARS! I've interacted with hundreds of McDonald's employees at various locations around the country but I've NEVER been treated as ROTTEN as I am treated when I go to THIS McDonalds on Sunday mornings! EVERY WEEK the same employee REFUSES to acknowledge me or get me my order! I always order breakfast for me and my 10 year old daughter at the Kiosk so that I can use my app, reward points etc. For whatever reason, the Kiosks at this location never have any paper receipts in them. So I take a pic of my order number so that I know what it is. EVERY Sunday there is a middle aged dark haired woman, who wears brown glasses who works up front. She refused to give me her name. She always wears a McDonalds hat, I actually took a pic of her this morning because she has been blowing me and my daughter's breakfast order off for months now! Since there isn't ever any paper receipts in the Kiosks, she tells me to tell her what our order is. Ah NO! That isn't how McDonald's works, I give her my order NUMBER, she is then supposed to go to the screen and she what we ordered and get it for us but she REFUSES! Instead she INSISTS that I tell her what I ordered--WHY should I have to do that? She CONSTANTLY goes to the screen with nothing but an order number to fulfill Uber orders so there is NO REASON she can't do the exact same for us other than she's LAZY, RUDE and OBNOXIOUS! By far THE worst McDonald's employee I've ever dealt with in 30 years! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT! If she REFUSES to do her job and REFUSES to give her name so that I can properly report her for NOT doing her job, WHY is she there?! Today I ordered our food at 10:23 am--we did not get it until 10:54am, all b/c she REFUSED to get it for us! The only reason we ever got it is because the African American woman who was working the drive thru was kind enough to stop what she was doing to get it for us. Thank you to that very kind person. We usually go to another McDonald’s location where the service is outstanding but we come here on Sunday mornings because it is closest to our church. From now on, we’ll drive the extra time to go to our usual spot—this McDonald’s and this MISERABLE Sunday morning employee are...
Read moreI will readily admit my understanding of the purpose of "fast food" and "drive-thru" might differ from others. For example, I don't believe that 25 minutes is an acceptable amount of time for FAST food. I also believe that a drive-thru should cater to drivers (meaning people who intend to be driving a vehicle). I have this belief because many drive-thrus don't allow walking up to the window. The experience: I stopped in the parking lot to use the McDonald's app. I selected the free medium fries reward, a double quarter pounder meal (large coffee with 13 Splenda and 2 cream, large fries, and 2 ketchup packets). I entered the drive-through lane and gave my order number. I joined the 3 waiting cars in line. The first car sat for an extremely long time, the second was quickly away, and the third again took a long time. I pulled up to the window. The man working the window said, "I'm going to give you the 13 Splenda packets to put in yourself." My thought was "how am I supposed to drive and make a cup of coffee" and "if I pull over and add my Splenda, then how is this fast food?" I said then cancel my order. He asked the manager how to cancel the order. He relayed the manager's message that it must be canceled in the app. I tried to do this and couldn't see a way to make this happen. The worker agreed to put the Splenda in my coffee. This worker, is customer service oriented and deserves to be rewarded. The manager saw him doing this. I couldn't make out the entire conversation but believe I heard the manager use the term "idiot." I believe this is a reference to me. I'm not idiot, maybe A-hole, but not an idiot. I was asked to pull to the front of the store, where I joined car 1 and car 3 from earlier in the story. I checked my coffee and it was several ounces short of a large. When my meal was delivered, the medium fries were missing. I notified the different worker that my order was missing the medium fries and that my coffee was not full. He said he'd get the fries. Which he brought about 5 minutes later. Nothing done about the coffee. This store is extremely poorly managed. I suggest you choose a...
Read moreOne of the worst McDonalds I’ve been to. The drive through was slightly long for the wait. The ordering was fine, the food was okay. The thing that offends me the most is how they take advantage of the fact that you are ordering Drive through. We ordered 2 adult meals and 2 happy meals. Before we were about to leave, we noticed that the two apple juices were missing. We asked for them, they gave it. I doubt that they would have given it if we didn’t notice. What’s even more outrageous, they completely omitted the two large drinks from our order. It was a Pepsi and a Sweet Tea. We were literally about to go to the intersection when we noticed. We stormed back demanding the drinks. They claimed that they already gave us the Sweet Tea (lie!). What’s ironic is that we were like, so the reasonable thing to do was to give a Pepsi, and they reluctantly gave another Sweet Tea. Once we noticed that their claim that they already gave Sweet Tea was erroneous, we demanded our other drink. And they angrily handed the Coke to us. What this whole thing means that if not all of this happened, we would have gone home with zero drinks with no way to refund or replace the item. At home, we found that they only gave a toy for one of the two Happy Meals. A terrible experience. The receipt had everything perfectly listed but what we originally received had many items missing. This shows how much they want to take advantage of your short attention span and your inability to reach back to them for refunds. This truly is quite despicable and to the managers of this McDonalds, please set things straight and emphasize to your young workers that these shenanigans are NOT okay. There is very little chance that we...
