If I could give 0 stars, I would. The most despicable customer service experience I have ever experienced. Went in on a Tuesday night for a corporate event and we took napkins from the bar area to wipe down our wet chairs/table outside and got BARKED on by the “manager on duty”, Joe T. He claimed we were wrong for taking napkins and instead of coming to speak to us like professional adults, he treated us like we were students. Amidst him yelling at us for taking napkins, we were apologizing and saying there must have been a misunderstanding, but he continued on, saying we were wrong. We then wanted to cancel our food order that we placed and had yet to be served, but he threatened to call the cops on us. Mind you, we wanted to cancel our food order because we no longer wanted to spend anymore money or time there and wanted to leave ASAP after that confrontation. We apologized again for taking the napkins and told Joe that he owed us an apology for how he approached us, but he refused and said “I don’t owe you guys anything, you were completely wrong”. We decided our reputation as a company was not worth such amount of money and kept our food order. The other bartender served our food in complete silence and then refused to give us this “manager’s” name. Never again will I give this bar my money and I will be sure to inform my fellow colleagues, alumni, and current students in the area about this terrible encounter. I am honestly shocked at how he treated the entire situation,...

The next day, I returned for St. Patty's and the vibes were completely different—I actually preferred being there during the day. They had some dope St. Patrick's Day deals, which was a plus.
However, my experience was dampened by the fact that the bartender seemed to be stealing tips. I had intended to tip her anyway, but I noticed that she took the tip directly from my money on the very first round, which didn't sit right with me. As a result, I didn't tip for the rest of the time I was there.
Overall, Cafe Hollywood offers classic pub fare in casual digs with a full bar and a patio. The drinks was decent, but the tipping situation left a sour taste...

Went to Cafe Hollywood at around 11 pm. Got carded and I had to use the rest room so I asked the bouncer where the rest room was and his response was "I don't know". Really? you work here and you don't know where the rest room was? Are you that stupid or did they just hire you last minute?
Went up to the bar and ordered a Blue Moon. It came flat and I disliked every taste of it. Anyway I closed my tab and I will not be coming back. If you're on Lark Street, I would recommend LAX over this bar - it's more expensive but the service and beer are better.
TL:DR - Bad...
