Saati Deli & Catering — Restaurant in City of Albany

Had Saati as a caterer for my wedding and it was one of my biggest regrets. Don’t get me wrong, the food is great, but on your wedding you are not only looking for great food, you need good service. People that are gonna make your experience less stressful. Worked directly with Chris and she made my life and my now husband way more stressful than it was supposed to be. She kept bringing up the amount of money that we were paying, saying that it was less than they usually charged so that was why we were receiving this service?!. She treated our bartenders like s*, in the level of them calling us and telling us what she had done. She even had someone from her company on the wedding day ask for a drink to our bartenders and they, of course, didn’t give it to them and she went there to confront them, saying that it was ok, they could serve the staff?! She was against any vendor that wasn’t Saati, for no reason. She also told us we would have a specific vegetarian dish at the wedding that we didn't have. On the last days before the wedding me and my family were about to fire them but it was too close to the wedding date so we couldn’t. But my experience...

They have the rudest workers in the place. The don't know how to say "please" or "thank you," but I've overlooked that because the sandwiches are pretty good. Today I walked up to the door after two and a worker was standing at the door, holding the door open and looking at his phone. As I was walking towards him he looked up and sternly said "we're closed!" No "sorry sir," no "excuse me, but we're not open after 2," just a very aggressive "we're closed." I've often wondered if the employees would get violent with each other, but now I fear that they may get violent with me! I won't...

I wish I could give them zero stars !! We got there just before they were closing but were inside (as another customer was finishing up) a man from behind the counter yelled “you should have locked the door “ and the other guy said they were closed. I said we just need one sandwich to go. They refused and the other guy walked us out. He said he was the “chef”. I said this is my first time here and I’m debating whether I would come back. The chef said “ we don’t care, we don’t need you. We have plenty of customers”!! I was shocked. That made my decision extremely easy!!...
