Quick backstory, 27 years ago when I was done with school and I got my first paycheck after joining the workforce I ignore all financial responsibilities I had at the time and instead bought a 14K white gold chain necklace....I know, what a baller right? A few months ago the clasp broke and I was devastated thinking it probably couldn't be fixed because of its age and I stuck it in a drawer in my nightstand until I had time to research what to do next. Little did I know my wife snuck the chain from my drawer immediately and took it to West and Diamonds store. Not only did I find the perfect gift for my mother who is very picky about jewerly, but I found a beautiful ring and earring set for myself, too.
